Horrible static! If considering these, read some of the 1 star reviews. They all tell the truth about the non-stop loud static that makes these inoperable. There is no way you would leave these on due to the constant static. And then when pushing the button to talk, you are hardly audible on the other side. 100% junk that I am about to return. I hope to find basic walkie talkies for my daughters to use inside the house and with the neighbor. These are not it!

These things work great, we have a big backyard and decent size house and the coverage is very good. reminds me of being a little kid and playing with these in the woods and down by the crick, which lead to a creek and subsequently a pond. Also, durable and battery life is above average from what i can tell.

There should no volume control. The static is very loud. Not a great toy for indoors or for hiding games for children.

Kids love them. They are kids walkie talkies so not top shelf, but for my kids they work.

Threw them away the same day. They don't work. All static.

Not good enough quality for even children to play with. Very static laden performance and shoddy sound quality. I would absolutely not recommend this product, unless you have alternative internal components you want to install.
