Where Blues Cross Over/12 Years of Ruf Records
If you enjoy all kinds of blues, you will love this CD. It is an eclectic mix of blues styles. I've found some new artists that I had never heard before and hope to hear more of.

A couple of decent tracks but overall not good. Whispering Desert one of the worst tracks I have ever heard and that includes all music. BTW what type of music is that garbage ?

Es ist ein fantastisches "Stelldichein" der Top-Blues-Acts
Es ist nicht der erste Ruf-Sampler, den ich mir ins Regal gestellt habe und auch ganz bestimmt nicht der letzte dieser Art.Die bereits vor zwölf Jahren veröffentlichte CD hat bis heute nichts an ihrem Reiz verloren; ganz im Gegenteil, vielleicht deutlich dazu gewonnen, schließlich ist die Liste der präsentierten Protagonisten zum „mit der Zunge schnalzen“. Mit dabei Walter Trout, Kevin Coyne, Bernhard Allison, Luther Allison, Aynsley Lister und Canned Heat, um nur einige zu nennen. Und dann sind da auch noch Ana Popovic, Sue Foley und Candye Kane mit dem Titelsong ihrer 2005 erschienenen CD „White trash girl“. Mein Gott, was hatte die Frau 2005 noch eine Power eine Dynamik, eine Ausstrahlung. Da hätte es niemand für möglich gehalten, dass sie ein Jahrzehnt später nicht mehr unter uns weilt. Auf diesem Sampler setzt sie allerdings ein richtig markiges Ausrufezeichen.Wie gesagt, die gesamte CD ist ein Hammer. Obendrauf gibt es gratis eine DVD mit weiteren 13 Songs, wobei die DVD nicht die optische Kopie der CD ist und zudem einige feine Schmankerl enthält, siehe Ana Popovic, siehe Bob Brozman oder auch Sue Foley.Fazit: Wieder einmal ein ganz feines und durchdachtes Ruf-Records-Werk, dessen Anschaffung niemand bereuen wird, es sei denn, Blues ist überhaupt nicht sein oder ihr Metier.

Really enjoyable cd/dvd set featuring a diverse range of artists from the Ruf record stable.Well worth seeking out for all lovers of modern blues!

Rufっていうレーベルのアーティストに興味があって、この値段！即飛びつきました。で、そう期待しないで（だってこの価格ですもの）CD,DVDを視聴しました。一人二人を除いて無名のプレイヤーがこれでもか！ってくらいにブルース・ロックを奏でています。勿論メジャーな曲なんてのはありませんけど私にとっては、よきアーティストの素晴らしい紹介アルバムです。（皆が知らないから好きになる）っていう性格の人間（天邪鬼）にとっては宝物のCD、DVDになること請け合いです。

Coole Scheibe. Verpackung kommt als Papphülle , also keine gewohnte CD Hülle, aber egal die Songs sind richtig gut. Auch die Aufnahmen (Tonqualität) Absolute Kaufempfehlung
