NKJV, End-of-Verse Reference Bible, Personal Size Large Print, Leathersoft, Purple, Red Letter, Comfort Print: Holy Bible, New King James Version

Thicker than expected but nice size. I did a lot of research to look for another Bible to replace one I gave away. I had narrowed it down to two bibles. This one won out! Beautiful leather feel with a row of flowers down the side etched into the material. It's a nice large print that is easy to read. It includes a concordance, red letters for what Jesus says, beautiful colored maps, two ribbons to save your place in the old and new testaments, silver edge, and the paper is not so thin that you can't make notes on the pages, highlight, or underline. The price was very good for the value of the bible. I purchased repositionable tabs to make locating the various books of the bible. Love it!

This is actually a very nice Bible especially for the reasonable cost! A few years ago I switched from reading the Bible on my tablet with the YouVersion Bible app to a physical Bible. I liked the app because it was light weight, I could enlarge the print and also very easily compare translations. Most all my Bibles were large (heavy) study Bibles with small print or smaller compact Bibles with even smaller print! I purchased a personal size Bible with giant print in the New Living Translation. It has been a joy reading the giant print NLT.... but I missed the NKJV because I was so familiar with it (and initially the KJV). I had memorized so much from the NKJV. So I decided to get a personal size Bible in the NKJV but wanted the same giant size font as the NLT. Could only find "large print". I worried it wouldn't be as comfortable to read as the giant print (I am 74 yrs old). Well it seems to be fine - using my prescription readers. It really is a beautiful Bible, love the purple color; personal size is very comfortable to hold, cover material very nice and it has two wide ribbons. Very happy with it. i love everything about this Bible, the font is large and legible, the pages are thick and you don’t see the writing tbru the page, the tabs are nice to have, the red print is great. i was like do i really want purple? yes turns our i love it! it’s very dark and rich in color. super happy with my new Bible

The NKJV is my favorite translation and I wanted an inexpensive copy to underline, highlight, and make brief notes when studying. (I don't mark in my premium Bibles.) I am more than pleased with this edition. The lovely dark purple synthetic cover is soft and the larger10.5-pt print is easy to read, with generous white space between the lines. It is in verse by verse format and has the words of Christ in red.I've used gel Bible highlighters, Micron pens, and even a regular fountain pen with no bleed-through to the other side of the paper. This edition has features found on more expensive Bibles such as line-matched print with very little ghosting, silver edge gilding, two nice silver-colored satin ribbons, and is Smyth sewn. It lies open easily and is a handy size. There are some end of verse references, translation notes at the bottom, and a concordance and maps in the back.I have several expensive heirloom quality Schuyler and Allan Bibles, but I could be satisfied with only this Nelson edition if needed. I was surprised at how much I like it and its quality. Of course, in any Bible it's the content that is priceless. This is an excellent edition of God's word in one of the more literal word for word modern English translations.

This Bible is beautifully made. The purple cover is vibrant. The picture doesn’t even come close to what it looks like. Purple being one of my favorite!!!The larger print is sufficient. No more strainingto see the words.Also this is a great study Bible in my opinion,due to the end of scripture references to tell you where to go to support what you just read.And to add to the conversation the Bible wasdelivered the very next day , early in the day too.So happy Bible reading ,and studying 🙏🏽☀️

I was excited to receive my newly ordered Thomas Nelson New King James Version Bible. I immediately wanted to read and study this particular Bible because the older I get, the harder it is to read some of the fine print that some publishers use. The "comfort print" used in the typeset of this Bible makes it easy to read.With two satin tassels, the Thomas Nelson NKJV has allowed me to study more than one subject, book, paragraph, or verse. In the past, I would sometimes want to reference another verse but lose my place where I started. That frustration is countered by the two-tassel design.I order a purple one in honor of my late mother's favorite color. But that is not the only way this Bible honors. The red letters of Christ help distinguish between what people interacting are saying and His words. The design is durable and wrapped up in a sturdy binding. Like most Bibles, the pages are thin and coated on the edges with a silvery finish, as used in this version. The crafting of the book is awesome for its cost (I honestly thought that because of the low price, it would be flimsy and poorly put together). I was gladdened to be wrong.I am happily pleased with my purchase of the Thomas Nelson King James Version of the Bible. The NKJV removes the old English way of speaking and adopts a modern language tone without sacrificing the credibility of the King James Version. I give Thomas Nelson many accolades for honoring the Word of God with an excellent product. Now, I am ready to study diligently and present myself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth (2 Timothy chapter 2 verse 15).

Love this Bible, I should have bought the Bible with Chapter explaining but it didn’t have story titles. This one is great as well

I purchased this in my wife's fave color. Any shade of purple. Quality is good. English is her second language and so I picked this so she can read along with me and understand when I read something from my KJV.
