I bought this recently to use for Halloween costumes/Renaissance Faires. Got a Large after taking my measurements. I usually wear large shirts, sometimes medium, depending on the cut. I figured I'd rather have it a bit loose vs too tight. The fit was right as expected.I bought the Blue/Grey color combo, as it was on sale about $10 cheaper than the other color combinations. It's not really grey - more of a dark tan or dull brown, but it looks like the photos. The material is good - not stiff & heavy, not light & see-through. I washed it on delicate and it didn't wrinkle. Everything about it works well.If I had to name one complaint, it would be the lacing. It's literally 8 feet long, and they could have easily cut that down by 12-18 inches and still left you enough room to tie it up properly. I may shorten that myself. I would consider buying another vest in different colors if I expand my costume wardrobe.

Order a size up or two if you're looking for a more relaxed it.
I ordered this for a pirate night on a cruise I took with my family. Glad I ordered it early because I wasn't happy with the fit and wanted something a bit looser. I ordered my normal size XL and since I was trying to pull it over my head to put it on, it was very difficult. I ordered a size up (XXL) and that was perfect for me.The cord is very long. I had to trim it quite a bit. The material is holding up well and I have worn it on a few more cruises since then. The colors are holding and the material is nice.

Thought it was two vests but it’s reversible
Nice quality. Ordered too big and thought I was getting two. There are others that are priced cheaper but this is reversible and good quality.

Does the job
The vest will work well for my Captain Jack costume. The large size I bought was just a bit snug and it appeared longer in the photo, but I'm satisfied, overall.

It's fine could have hoped for a little thicker.
Pros: it does look good and falls a bit below the waist on me.Cons: Was hopping for a bit more thickness to be more like Faux Leather then Cloth which is how it wears.

This vest was purchased as part of a Renaissance costume. It fit as expected and was comfortable to wear all day.

Not good
The fabric is cheap and looks bad . It’s very uncomfortable to wear and needed a lot of work to salvage for my cosplay. It works if your in a pinch, but otherwise it’s just bad 👎
