Jensen Sound VM9215BT 7" Widescreen LCD Multimedia Car Receiver

This is my second Jensen DVD player. The first was the 9512 I bought 4 years ago. For what I paid that product worked like a champ. This one seems less capable in that it doesn't offer continuous music while changing source. Also doesn't play as well with iPods in that I have to touch my classic inorder to get it to reconnect when starting my car (annoying cause its in the glove box). Also have yet to find a parking brake bypass for video. They need to just install an open source standard OS on these things radios instead the custom poorly written software.Pros: Sound quality is up over older model. Nice visual display for iPod but miss seeing the song list.Cons: Same sluggish response to buttons. No side to side tilt (has the forward/back tilt).Edit: To bypass parking brake just grounded the wire. No need for a toggle like some systems. Also found that it sometimes likes to randomly start increasing volume until max (rare but annoying). Only solution is to hammer the mute button a few times.

I am very happy with this model, It works very well. I like the new changes over the previous model.

I wont take time to tell about all the good stuff just assume if its not mentioned in the complaint then its all goodhowever the thing that drives me crazy is that whenever I get a phone call & get off the phone call it goes back to whatever source fo music was on and it doesn't resume music volume it assumes phone volume which usually blows my ears outalso I bought all proper adapters but it will not play videos or pictures from my iphone as it statesoverall it does the main things I wanted but would be perfect if above were corrected

Bottom Line:If you are an average Joe and want ABOVE AVERAGE sound and that cool factor then look no further.WHY PAY MORE???

This is the best radio I have ever had. Easy to install and hook up. I have it hooked to 3 additional screens. Have a back up camera, is just so great. Plays perfect from my iPhone charges at same time. Bluetooth great for talking while driving. Quality was great I have since bought second one for my other car

I had this stereo installed in my son's Ford F-150. BestBuy installed it with no issues. Many features available. Of course Iphone compatible.

This is a very nicely laid out unit and for the price i think that it's a great deal. Like some other reviewers have found, the microphone that is included does not seem to work, so I'm going to try an aftermarket microphone that may be of higher quality.
