Not sticky, no residue, great hold!

I'm in love with this hair product! The texture is really thick and works really well when your hair is wet. I'd say rub it on your hands first, make a really thin coating on your hands, then crunch/work it into your hair. I have curly hair and this stuff works well. Don't put in your hair when dry, it'll dry funny. Also, it smells really good.This product is not like wet glue, its more of a damp cement sorta texture. That's why it works best when your hair is wet.

The original Loma Paste was great, I used if for years and it was the right product for my hair. After not using it for awhile, I ordered this product and am very disappointed.This product is chemical based and the quality of your typical grocery store/ bad-barber-shop "pomade". This product is the epitome of water based hair products, it dries hard, is not malleable, and gets sweat out immediately. The original Loma Paste allowed your hair to bend and stay in place, and it gave you the option to restyle your hair a couple times throughout the day with a wet hand. This new stuff it inadequate and overpriced for what it is.

I love using the forming paste. A little on your fingers, rub togther and distribute throughout your hair shaping it how you want to. You have control using your hands. It leaves your hair looking natural even more so than using a hair spray.

I like using this product to style my short salt and pepper hair. I first tried it when I bought it at a beauty shop in Venice Fl. When I came home to the Chicago area I tried to find it at retail stores and when I couldn’t find I turned to Amazon.

I've been using this product for nearly two years. Any time I try other products, I'm generally disappointed because they don't hold the style of my hair nearly as well. I have very thick hair folicles that are dense on my scalp, they don't like to stay in place on their own. This product is dry, not greasy, washes out very easily and doesn't require much product to actually work.

I use this product and the pomade for my pixie curly haircut. It helps keep my curls under control and not look frizzy, nor is it oily. It has a great clean scent and Washes out easy.
