Shine CompanyMarina Adirondack Chair, Back & Seat Pre-Assembled, Natural

I ordered 2 of these chairs and the matching red side table. I called the manufacturer (Shine Company) and spoke to Chris and asked him to send me a replacement for the damaged piece. He said it was not in inventory and for a resolution I should contact Amazon for a swap. I opted to get with a family member who is fabricating the broken piece and then I will have to match the paint for the chair. I will still contact Amazon for some kind of compensation. I will also do another rating/review when I get the piece corrected The other chair was fine and I put it together within a half hour. The directions say to put a washer on both ends of the screw but in a few cases there was not enough room for the washer and the bolt (screw not long enough). It seems like it should hold ok though. I would have given a 4 overall if the chair did not arrive damaged. I am satisfied with the overall look. It will take some time to see how well it holds up.

This is a complete waste of money, it is not made of OAK but rather a cheap light weight cedar. The fasteners are made of soft alloy steel and the nuts are not even self locking. The chair collapsed after one barbecue and went into the trash. I am an experienced carpenter.

Great addition to your yard of beach house. These fit well and are eye catching. Assembly is not bad and overall they are recommended. Easy to transport too as they fold nicely.

I liked nothing about this product. An Adirondack chair should look sturdy, be strong and over some degree of heaviness. I bought two chairs and they failed on all three counts. Both rear leg braces were split along with bent screws.Very cheap very light weight wood used. Poor quality finish. Not a pleasant chair to sit on.Honestly, I threw them both out in the garbage and they were hauled away...Then I smiled.I have bought elsewhere.

this chair is not as sturdy, or heavy as the description implies. it is able to be blown over in a hard wind. the longest bolts are not long enough to allow fastening the nut, never mind being able to put a washer against the wood, as the instructions say to do. some of the shorter bolts do work in the designated areas, but at lest 2 were too short. I will not buy a second one of this chair.

Excellent quality and easy to assemble. VERY comfortable! Came quickly.

GREAT chair for great price

Complete junk. I’m not sure what wood it is, but it’s not cedar as Americans know it. Get what you pay for. Kept 2 of 4 cause I already assembled. Both ones I kept are broken, cracking. Might as well be made of foam. DO NOT BUY
