I bought these same lights but in red and 3 years later they still work So this year I wanted the whites one they work perfectly, and I love that you can make them twinkle. I recommend.

My tree is complete now! My old lights finally gave up the ghost and these are very nice. Wish they would twinkle individually like my old ones but these are a nice addition with the fade in an out. Merry Christmas ALL!

When item came I plugged it in before even taking all the lights out of the package. Half the lights didn’t work. I decided to hang them anyway, because I bought it to supplement my existing lights that left a small part of the tree unlit. And I was going to use these lights to fill up that area. As soon as I started hanging them, the other lights stopped working. I tried three times to take them off, fiddle with the wires to get half the lights working and then hang them back up. Any little movement of the control box would stop the lights from working. The control box has a poor design and no housing for the wires coming out of it so it simply pinches them between the top half and bottom half of the box. Also, if you think you want to keep them and try to repair the box as I thought (being so close to Christmas I didn’t want to return and buy a new set), the box is held together by two triangle head screws. Triangle! I’ve got a decent amount of tools but no triangle screwdrivers. So I will be returning these.

I purchased two sets for our Christmas tree. One has worked fine. The other set has half of the lights working. I haven't removed them from the tree to check each bulb to see if maybe one has gone out and caused the other ones to go out.

I have been looking everywhere for Christmas lights that ALL twinkled at once and I finally found them. I am in love. Just wish I found them in LED but these will work.

Bought several packs of these a few years back at a local store and needed a few more strands after getting a bigger tree. Had to search a bit but found them on Amazon and ordered two strands. I have all the strands set for a specific look - slow fade in and out, unfortunately, every time I turn them off and on, the new strands reset to fast blinking. None of the strands I already had change the setting, just the new ones. Have to make sure I have access to the setting button each time to set the new lights to match the old. Why do they reset? Pretty inconvenient having to get down on hands and knees to hit the button.

This is a great product! Everything arrived intact--no broken bulbs or anything. I couldn't find twinkling lights in the stores so I bought them online, and I have no regrets. They were delivered quickly in time for me to decorate my tree. The color of the lights is nice and golden, not the super bright white kind that they sell now. I think the only slight negative is that when you unplug the lights, you lose whatever setting you had it on, and it goes to a default sequence. At first this bothered me, but I got over it. It's kind of nice to see all the various options. I guess it would be a negative for you if you just really only like one of the options on the remote.
