Cute and reality tv book must- read

The Fame Game by Lauren Conrad is a cute, funny, and also a dramatic story. It is also a very easy book to read.

This is a fun read. I love all of the characters, but especially Madison Parker! She is the girl you love to hate, but her story is good and you understand why she is the way she is. I always love Lauren's books. They are full of entertainment and great dialogue. I was hooked at chapter one!

I bought this book because it was extremely discounted. I read the first series and got bored with most of it. I like this book a lot more than I thought I would. Lauren Conrad isn't a terrible writer.

Book is fine but cover is badly damaged and no dust jacket included, very disappointed.

I can't help myself. I'm a 30-something still reliving my Laguna Beach days. Love Lauren and her books!Read on my Kindle. It's nice to see e-books without grammatical errors.

Lauren Conrad has superceded the quality of her last series, LA Candy. The Fame Game series is awesome! I'm 31yrs old and can say that it was entertaining to me, and kept my interest. The first series was a little "immature" for- but being a Lauren fan, I read it anyway. But this series was written in a much better fashion. The events seemed to be accurately depicted, instead of a bunch of over-explaining. The events that happend were significant to the story & kept the reader interested. Thank you Lauren! You've stepped your game up, honey!

Lauren Conrad can do no wrong in my opinion. Anything she does turns to platinum! The Fame Game is a continuation of the antics from her best selling book series "L.A. Candy". I loved "L.A.Candy" and I absolutely loved "The Fame Game". Sometimes I got the feeling that Lauren wrote these series of books from her personal reality t.v. experiences and just changed some names and circumstances around and because of that reason, I became even more hooked. I give this series an A+ because she made the most notoriously hated character in the series into a real person with actual feelings.

I haven't read the book yet since I've purchased a lot at the same time. But pleased with the speed of delivery and quality of the book.

The Lauren Conrad series books are amazing, such a good storyline to follow! Such an easy read and great as a holiday book!

i would recommend ordering from this compnay. Arrive quickly and undamaged as packing was good. I am looking forward to reading this book and ordering the next.

Trevor Lord, the producer of LA Candy, comes up with a new reality TV show called "The Fame Game". The show follows four young girls, who want to make it in Hollywood. A musician, an actress and Madison and Gaby from LA Candy.The cover of this book is similar to the ones of the LA Candy Trilogy. An all black background with dark pink and white lettering. In the center is a crushed starshaped lollipop. Again a real classy cover.The writing style of Lauren Conrad is again fun and easy but sadly the story was not as exciting as in the LA Candy trilogy. The reader finds out a lot about the new characters and also about Gaby and Madison, but the story lacks drama. A little unusual for 4 reality stars in Hollywood.The two new charakters Kate and Carmen are total opposites. The one is a girl from a smalltown, who wants to become a musician, while the other is the daughter of a famous singer and music producer wanting to become an actress. Both girls are really interesting characters. Gaby is the same as readers already know her from LA Candy. Madison therefore shows a different side of herself.I really enjoyed this book but as i mentioned above the story sadly lacked a little drama.

I have all the other Lauren Conrad books, they are my go to holiday reads. Had to stop my self reading it until I went on holiday which was hard, because I wanted to see where the story carries on. There are a few characters from the last series books, but the main leads from those are no longer in it. I would recommend reading the first three before getting into this one. It is just like watching a reality TV show really and sadly find myself gripped from chapter to chapter. This coming from someone who likes more adult fiction!It took me about five days of my holiday to read, and I was reading super slow in between sunbathing, normally probably could get through it in two nights! This isn't a book which will challenge anyone and you don't need to think when reading it but Lauren is a good writer you have to give her credit for that and when you think her target audience is under 20/ early 20's its not bad. I am slightly older but have been a fan of Lauren's since Laguna Beach when I was in my early twenties so sort of grown up with her!

Vor der Veröffentlichung der Fame Game Reihe, gab es L.A - Candy. Da ich bereits L.A. Candy ziemlich gelungen und durchaus unterhaltsam fand, beschloss ich auch die zweite Reihe von Lauren zu lesen.Enttäuscht wurde ich nicht.Sicherlich die Handlungsstränge sind ähnlich ( wieder geht es um junge Frauen die ein Leben in Los Angeles führen und dabei von Reality TV Kameras beobachtet werden) aber es kommen neben einer alten bekannten ( Madison) neue und für mich durchaus interessante Charaktere hinzu.Ich möchte nicht groß auf die Handlung rund um einzelne Charaktere eingehen, ich denke aber das jedem der spaß am verfolgen von unterschiedlichen reality Formaten hat oder einen kleinen Einblick in die Welt des reality TV haben möchte, dieses Buch durchaus gefallen wird.Für Fans von Lauren Conrad besonders interessant da teilweise leichte parallelen zu ihrem eigenen in The Hills dargestellten leben hat.

I was amazed to see another trilogy from miss Lauren Conrad fabulous read well written can't wait to read the next installment was a brilliant way to change it to show a strong character so vulnerable I wonder what happens next Recommended to anyone who loves a bit of girl bitching family worries and who genuinely loves Lauren Conrad

I brought this book as I really enjoyed the LA Candy series, but I must say the jury is still out on this one! I've brought the second book in this series Starstruck so we will see if Lauran Conrad can turn things around. This book seemed rushed and a little same as, as her previous books.

Compulsive reading!! Full of lies, scandal, deceit and trailer trash!! A nice easy read one doesn't need to think too much about. Fans of LA candy will love this book also by Lauren Conrad.

I love the whole series of novels and cannot wait to read the next. Amazing characters and great story lines. Must read and highly recommend.
