Samsung 2020 55" Q70T QLED 4K Quantum HDR Smart TV with Tizen OS Black

I saw a review that was critical of the centre stand. There are 8 screws, 4 that secure the pieces of the stand, and 4 that secure it to the back of the TV. When secured, it was very stable.Once tinkered with, I find the picture is on a par with my LG Oled.It only came with one remote (not sure if there should have been 2 in the box), and that is a very fiddly one(smart). I bought another remote for £15(conventional Samsung), from Amazon, which my son got free with his Samsung Qled Q60T, and it makes things a lot easier, to set up, and control.There is no Freeview, and when tuned in, I had to edit the programs and put them in some sort of order. Not hard to do, but it would be nice to have a familiar program guide. All the usual streaming apps, and catch up TV apps, are there.There are 4 hdmi inputs, one of which is the e-hdmi arc. The TV has Dolby Atmos output, from the subscription streaming services.The 'e-hdmi ' connected to my LG Dolby Atmos soundbar, makes the soundbar, sound brilliant.There is no Dolby Vision, but the HDR 10+, handles the high definition content, magnificently.Overall, I find this a very good television for the price, and a welcome addition to my home entertainment system.

Got this to replace my 37" 2010 model.A lot has happened in the last 10 years and although I am under no illusion that the apps and features will still be functioning and supported in a couple of years, got stung with the first round of smart TVs, its fun to enjoy them whilst they work.Great picture and sound which is the reason you buy it in the end.Only annoyance is why cant we have subtitles OFF by default when playing mkv video files? Hate having to pause go to settings and turn them off EVERY time.

This is my first full size TV since owning a 32" CRT many years ago. I was blown away by the picture quality, it has transformed my experience of watching Netflix and Prime Video. The remote is simple and ergonomic. The built-in speakers are also great. The TV looks nice mounted on the wall. I've owned it for two months now, but the 'wow' factor on seeing the clarity of some video is still there. The only problem I've had is with the backlight. It seems to ramp down on dark scenes, making some programmes (Sci Fi - space scenes etc.) quite dull. The dynamic modes seem to combat this by boosting shadows and constrast, but then you end up with an over processed and often heavily saturated image. Having said that, it doesn't bother me that often, only now and again. it's still an awesome TV, and I still think this was the best choice of TV at this price point.

Beware! Although the item description states this is a bundle that includes a soundbar, it does not! Additionally the wrong model number was sent. I received QE55Q70TATXXH (a European version not the XXU which is for the UK) this means that the channels will NOT be sorted for UK and will be alphabetically stored. You can rearrange channels but will need to after any updates.Aside from this, assuming that you get the correct model number, the TV picture is great and I haven’t noticed any issues. It did take a while to set up (the set up using the SmartThings app kept failing)The sound would definitely benefit from using a soundbar but is ok.The smart remote isn’t very intuitive and my Sky Q remote won’t operate the TV any more (the tv model number isn’t in the Sky box!)

This is an excellent TV for the price. Picture quality is great. Delivery was fast and it arrived unscathed. The only problem I had was getting NOW TV onto it. It did not come with a NOW TV app, which I wanted. I got around that using my fireTVstick.

After an issue with sound synch, the problem was solved & this tv was rated highly by friends & is the perfect 4K ‘pound for pound’ tv of its price class. Fantastic picture, great smart features & perfect for movies, tv & gaming...!!

Beautiful picture. Need to download the SmartThings app to set TV up/accept terms and conditions. Assembly was fairly easy. A good buy so far.

What I thought would be a top end choice and long lasting tv is showing up poor performance after only two years, probably wouldn't buy a Samsung again . Screen burn showing in patches around screen when displaying certain colours, have tried all kinds to see if it can be cleared through settings but no luck.
