Acer Iconia Tab A200 Foldable Protective Case - Black (A200C01)

The outside is a leather-like material with a finish that reminds me of brushed aluminum. It flips open and the back is hinged in the middle allowing it to stand at any angle on a piece of velcro hook near the bottom. All buttons, connection, and other such things have openings and are accessible while in the case.I put the tablet in it and first thing I noticed is the right side is pooched up just a bit. Also, the screen opening could stand to be a hair bigger. Otherwise, fit is great. All the holes for buttons and such line up perfectly and are easily accessible but protected from accidental presses.I figured this being an official "Acer" case would mean it'd have the best fit, but it could be better. That said, it's very cool looking and I think it should do an excellent job of protecting the tablet from damage.

I bought this case to replace an aftermarket case. I wanted something with an adjustable angle for the easel feature. But this case has not met my expectations. The easel positioning is done with a skinny Velcro strip that sticks to the felt material on the inside of the cover flap. Two problems with this: 1) it limits the angle you can set to because the contact patch on the skinny Velcro is so narrow. And 2) the Velcro has caused the felt to start separating from the cover flap from repeated use as an easel. I do like the external material. It's a nylon-like material that's been textured/woven to kind of look and feel like a dark brushed aluminum. And this case holds the tablet very snuggly. I haven't have any issues with the tablet sliding down like I have with other cases. I recommend this case if you just want something protective for travel. But it falls short as an easel.

I wanted a simple case for my tablet, however, when I began my search I found that the options were all but endless. When I found the Acer Iconia Tab A200 Case it meet all of my requirements for being simple and it also pulls Double - Duty as a Stand, as well. The on thing that I did not expect was to find that the Finish on this Case is very unique, and a nice touch. The Finish is a cross between Brushed Metal and Baby Soft, for lack of a better way of describing it.

Bought this for my wife as a gift to replace one just like it that had lasted her through a lot of use and abuse.. It was a little expensive but I had looked at other cheaper products that looked quite inferior and were ill fitting. This cover fit her Tab. perfectly and is a well made product, it is worth the extra cost. I am please with the purchase and she is pleased with the gift.

The look and feel of the product is great. The problem however is that the part of the case that "holds" the tablet in place covers the entire edge so that its right up on the screen. This makes it a bit cumbersome to access the home and back buttons on android which is located at the bottom of the screen. Actually, any selectable region near the edge of the screen is a bit cumbersome to select.It might seem like a small issue but once you start using the tablet it becomes rather irritating and frustrating trying to select menus near the edge of the screen since the case gets in the way most times.

I thought I would get the Acer branded case because I figured it would be better than some of the aftermarket ones that I've seen. It isn't much if any better. The edges of the screen are hard to touch because of the overlap of the leatherish binding for the tablet. After a week or two, the velcro piece that positions the tablet for viewing wasn't sticking well. That left me just folding the case back under the tablet and holding it. I have my tablet out of the case more than I have it in the case now.

My son uses this case for his Iconia A200 and he loves it and says it works great. This one does not have a keyboard, it's just the black leather case. Looks nice, all the holes line up correctly. No problems noted. It appears there are now other cases made specifically for A200 which may be cheaper and or also have a bluetooth keyboard so look around for what best suits your needs but my son says he is happy with this case.

After previously purchasing 2 other tablet covers from Walmart & Target,this was just what I had been looking for and couldn't receive from the manufacturer! Go figure for one would think Acer products would sell their own cover for their tablet! Kudos to Amazon for an alternate way of purchasing this item in a timely manner.
