My stock DRZ400s was too quiet. I took off the exhaust tip and liked how it sounded. It was almost too loud. So, I ordered this exhaust tip, installed it and found that it now looks and sounds perfect to me. Don't waste your money buying a whole muffler/silencer - just remove the old, restrictive tip with this one. The diameter of the hole is about twice the size for my bike so it allows more air to easily flow out. It comes with a spark arrester screen that seems high quality too. I can't believe more riders don't do this.

Super easy to install, sounds MUCH better than stock, It’s not quite the same as buying a full aftermarket exhaust but for $20 man it’s a GREAT option to run until you do get a full system, even just running it with this would be plenty if you’re just going for a better sound

Surprisingly made the DRZ exhaust sound loud and bassy.

I bought a DRZ with a missing exhaust baffle and this fixed it and sounds great with the added benefit of being a spark arrestor. Not too loud but good sound.

Installed on 2009 DRZ400S- I ride fire roads in Nor Cal, and wanted a tad louder exhaust so the nut jobs driving their trucks like they’re Ivan Stewart can possibly, maybe, hear me 🤞. Bonus is with 3x3, proper jetting, and hi-flow filter it runs great too. Takes 15 seconds to remove if you have noise restrictions and need stock tip. Tip, use rubber mallet to seat the tip before tightening screw and a dab of high temp silicone on the screen to hold in place

This is something every DRZ400 owner needs. Fits great, and the sound different is about a 30% increase in the “thumping” noise if that makes sense. It’s definelty more aggressive but nothing too crazy, such an easy mod

Fit more or less perfect. Make sure to push it on before threading screws. For the price I can’t complain one bit, I can actually hear my bike now.
