Another Great Lucy Kincaid/ Sean Rogan Book!!
I love Allison Brennan!! Her Lucy Kincaid/Sean Rogan books are amazing! I've been a fan since the beginning. This book was intense! It was exciting, thrilling, heartbreaking and utterly soul crushing in parts, but Allison never lets us down. Lucy has had a life of hell and without giving spoilers, is about to encounter even more. Be prepared to hold on to the edge of your seat and not do anything else from when you pick this book up until you put it down finished! There just is no way that you can walk away mid book. I'm sure my husband thought I was crazy as I was sitting there reading with a big smile on my face one moment, then tears streaming down my face the next, fist pumping in joy and dread all over my face as my stomach sank for Lucy. This book was a total rollercoaster and I feel like I lived it just like Lucy. This was an Awesome read and a Must have in your library if you love Romantic Suspense, Thriller, Mystery, any of the above. Allison Brennan delivers once again!!

Strong characters for good and evil
Both the villain and main character in AB story are female and are both underestimated by some of those around them. This is an interesting dynamic that plays out differently as he story progresses. Both women also have a strong significant other who supports them and will do anything for them. It is quite intriguing to see how that can be a positive and a negative. Two of my favorites are Kane and Jack which made me quite happy as they are heavily featured in this story. Sean’s character really shone in this story, as did the state of his relationship with his brothers. Lucy’s internal struggle about her past was a strong feature again, and she had to address some harsh situations from her colleagues which were infuriating but left me wondering what will that dynamic lead to in the future. The role of family was present as always and I loved how it featured in the ending of this story.

If you like great crime thrillers with some tasty romance thrown in this book—this entire series–is for you. In 2007 I read my first book by Allison Brennan, Speak No Evil and loved it. I finished the Evil trilogy, the books that introduced me to the Kincaid family, hungry for more. When the first Lucky Kincaid novel came out, Love Me to Death, I pounced. Through 9 books Allison Brennan has woven a story of intricate crime and criminals, a growing romance, a young woman facing a nightmare form her past and desperately trying to create a life for herself. I don't want to give away anything because you all have to read this book, but in a book that brings all t he players from all the previous books together, this one deserves a gold medal. This is the best—THE BEST — book written with the reader in mind. I am in awe of the work it took to keep so many strings dangling and then sweep readers off their feet. Kudos, Allison, for being such a skilled author and storyteller. No Good Deed (Lucy Kincaid Novels Book 10)

NO GOOD DEED by Allison Brennan is the 10th in her ...
NO GOOD DEED by Allison Brennan is the 10th in her Lucy Kincaid series. The story starts with the deadly escape of Nicole Rollins—a 10-year DEA agent gone bad—from a highly secure federal prison in San Antonio. The escape, masterminded by Rollins and her accomplices on the outside, left in its wake five dead law-enforcement officers. This was only the beginning of Nicole Rollins’ deadly swath of revenge killings of DEA and FBI agents whom she felt wronged her while she was with DEA. The story highlights the dangers of drug running and the viciousness of Mexican cartels. Lucy Kincaid, an Irish-Cuban FBI agent and criminal psychologist is at the top of Rollins’ hit list for execution. Meanwhile, Kincaid’s untiring perseverance to expose a mole within the joint task force group whom she believes helped Rollins in her escape and in her follow-on killings is met with apprehension and disquiet among her FBI and DEA peers. The pursuit of Rollins turns into the most expansive manhunt ever conducted in Mexico and Texas. No Good Deed is a violent story full of deceit, bloody and vicious killings and dangerous psychopaths on the loose. Brennan writes well, however, the book is about a hundred pages too long. It also has way too many meaningless secondary characters that only lend confusion to the narrative. The reader can easily get lost in the plot. For these reasons, I cannot give the book a higher rating than 3 stars.

It was an excellent read. Full of action
Corrupt ex DEA agent, Nicole Rollins escapes in a prison transfer leaving behind 5 dead officers. Rollins obviously had inside help. FBI agent Lucy Kincaid is part of the largest task force ever formed in Texas to capture her. Rollins has left a trail of bodies behind her and if she isn't captured more will follow. Rollins is getting help from someone in the DEA, or FBI and possibly both so officials on the task force are trying to discover where the leak is. Rollins hasn't left the area, she has an agenda. They need to find out what it is, and fast. Lucy is in danger from this dangerous psychopath and her family along with anyone she holds dear. I would give this book a 4 1/2 if I could. It was an excellent read. Full of action, suspense and betrayal.

Nail-Biting, Page-Turning Suspense
Every book in the Lucy Kincaid series (or any book written by Allison Brennan) makes me so thankful that I found this author and wonder how I went so many years having never heard of her. "No Good Deed" may be the best yet in this series. At first, I wasn't expecting to love it more than I love any of the Lucy books, especially since it deals with my least favorite subject: drugs, but this book was non-stop, nail-biting suspense. So many favorite characters are back for this book: Hans, Noah, Jack, Kane and the story was just scary. I didn't want to read it quickly since this book caught me up in the series and now I have to wait until November (may as well be a million years away) for the next one but I had no choice, I couldn't put it down. Fast-paced, suspenseful and the most ruthless bunch of characters yet all made this a page-turner. This may be my new favorite in the series.

Wow, anazing
Wow, just wow. I was gripped. Could not put it down and experienced every emotion going! this book is brilliant. I recommend reading the book before this first as the overarching storyline follows on but Having said that you would have no problem with the story if you read this In isolation. I have only recently discovered Allison Brennan but have very quickly become hooked.

Love her books
A 'typical' Allison Brennan, heart pounding novel. Love her books; can't put them down; I nag her for the next one everytime I get the latest one! Trouble follows Lucy everywhere she goes; her fellow agents are hard on her and it makes the story all the more believable. Brilliant; well thought out plots. Allison's a master story teller!
