Worked good to remove 3/8 pipe plug from side of Case engine block for installation of a block heater.

Bought this for the drain plug on the transmission of my Suzuki Forenza. Can also confirm it fits the 06 and 08 as i have both. one was on a little to tight so i put this tool on an impact (expected it to snap). But, it held and took it right off. it was a perfect fit and at a great price!

1987 Jeep wrangler that nasty odd drain screw on the transfer case. Found and old extension and used a grinder and finally made a fitting to fit. The very next day we used this on my buddies Jeep and bam off check and change . Perfect fit

As an owner of a 2001 Ford F-250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, I was extremely curious as to whether my truck was equipped with the sturdier forged rods found in the OBS trucks and the 1999/2000s, or if I had the more brittle powdered metal rods used on the 2002/2003 trucks. Now they say you should be able to tell which ones you have based on your engines serial #, but enough sources have proven this method as being less than 100 percent reliable/accurate, so all that was left was for me to take a look with my own two peepers. Which brought me to the inspection port.. Upon first glance at the square shaped opening, I was sure that in my many a'toolboxes and jars that I would have some type of attachment or socket wrench or material that I would be able to wedge in there and make do.. But I was wrong. Way wrong! It didn't matter how much loosening spray or how hard I hammered an item into the opening or how tightly I squeezed on pliers trying to hold said item, it wouldn't budge! Which brought me to this bad boy! Let me tell you, the ease of which I was able to open port using this tool was flat out embarrassing after all the effort I had put into everything else. It was a piece of cake! Wish I had just done it right from the start! (For the record, I had forged rods. Score!)

Exactly what I needed for installing electric fans

The 5/16" square male drive fits stock AMC V8 engine block core plugs. $9.55 is a lot for a single Taiwanese socket, but it fits what I need it to, was delivered fast, and I didn't have to leave the house to get it. Quality seems OK for Taiwan, but removing 40 year old core plugs puts plenty of stress on the small 5/16" diameter. I'll update if it breaks.

I have been on this with a1/2” drive 36” breaker bar. And it wasn’t hurt a bit.

Got today and used to pull 2 of 3 pipe plugs from a 70 Pontiac block. Worked like a charm. Pretty tough little socket.
