Able to use this adapter to move a lot of data off a bad LaCie drive
A friend has/had a LaCie Big Disk Extreme with a decade of important creative projects on it which suddenly wouldn't spin up. Apparently the power supply failed, because I ordered this replacement and plugged it in --it worked! We were then able to back up everything from the LaCie to another external hard drive for safekeeping. A great relief!
