The Berg company offers two snacking options - Bites and Bars.I've reviewed the bars separately. They are moist and delicious, a substantial snack with an excellent crunch from pea protein crisps. I recommend them highly.My review here is about the Bites.How are Berg Bites different from Berg Bars? First, they have a creamier texture than the bars, because they do not have protein crisps. This makes for a different but in no way less satisfying experience.Second, each package contains 5 bite-size nuggets, which is somehow more fun to eat compared with a bar. Third, the Bites are lower-priced, and have lower weight - 1.5oz compared with the bars at 2.5oz.Finally, some of the flavors are different. I will describe them here.Day 1 - I tried SUNFLOWER BUTTER WHITE CHOCOLATE. These are super-moist bites, loaded with white chocolate chips and a deliciously creamy mouthfeel. They're sweet but not overly so, and satisfyingly substantial.Day 2 - DARK CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD. This flavor has abundant chocolate chips against a very pleasing banana background. The chia seeds add a subtle crunch that gives the bite a nice variation in consistency. Overall a tasty, satisfying bite.Day 3 - ALMOND BUTTER AND JELLY. This is perhaps my favorite flavor, because the grape jelly component ("Natural Jelly Flavor") is so pronounced. It has a pleasing sweetness, and the grape flavor really comes through. This is also a very moist bite. It's hard to stop at just one. You really want to eat all 5 bites in one snacking session.Day 4 - PEANUT BUTTER DARK CHOCOLATE. This flavor is creamier than the others from the peanut butter, punctuated by coolness from the chocolate chips. Put this all together and you get a flavor that's more nutty and less sweet than the others. It's a nice difference that delivers a more subtle flavor profile. It's also moist.All the Bite flavors are tasty, and I love the bite format. It's a different experience from bars, and a great snack option.

I was buying these Berg Bites on QVC, at a higher price (plus being charged for S&H). Also, QVC doesn't have this particular flavor. I like these bites. The package is convenient to toss into a bag. There are 5 little bites (another reviewer says there are 4; there truly are 5) in each package. I like the smaller bites better than one bigger granola bar. I've eaten only a couple from a package and the remaining bites are still fresh and soft the next day. I do think that there could be a more pronounced peanut butter flavor in these. I really didn't detect much of that flavor. These bites are more expensive than granola bars that are more readily available; I wish they'd lower the price a bit. I would buy them again

They are a bit pricey, but delicious. I have to ration them out to myself. They have chia seeds, so if you're considering them-- keep that in mind. Fortunately, I really love chia seeds. Cookie dough consistency, perfect portions, sweet, and satisfies hunger/are filling. I ate them all, so I'll see about adding a photo after my next order arrives.

There are lots of disgusting snacks on the market posing as "healthy." These bites are an example of a rare product that actually lives up to the hype!! This is the absolute BEST snack for super picky, high maintenance kids! Nutritious, wholesome, and bite-sized. My four year old loves them so much. They are a little pricey, but it's worth it for clean ingredients. A must-buy item for your pantry!!!!

I tried these bars from a local small business coffee shop in Illinois and they were excellent and fresh and energizing. This is why I wanted to buy my own set of them. The texture is similar to the hunk bites you can buy at Costco but they seem to be healthier and actually give you energy!However, I got my box in September 2024 and the bars say they don’t expire until August 2025 but man, why do they taste like expired lotion?!Let me try to explain it, but there is a very distinct aftertaste of the way expired makeup or lotion smells. You know that smell I think of when the oil in it gets putrid and has a chemical plasticky wax like scent. Whatever that is, is how the bars I received tasted.Unlike the ones I bought from my local coffee store, these were so bad and so gross and not worth the money.I’m even burping that chemical taste. Gross. Maybe it’s the MCT oil in it? I’m not sure what happened but just be aware that your batch may not be fully representative of the actual product in its best form.My favorite is the dark chocolate banana because it’s the most natural flavor but even in my batch you can taste the stale oily chemical aftertaste.I’m so so disappointed. The distributors are either not doing quality control or they are selling faulty products here.Hope you guys get a better batch but I would suggest you go into a physical store and try these instead you can find them.

I bought these bites after trying the bar. I bought the dark chocolate peanut butter bites and they are delicious. Like the bar they do not have that typical gross protein bar taste. Just chocolate and peanut butter and oatmeal flavor. If you do not like oatmeal then you may not like these. I look forward to taking these to work for breakfast, I don't normally eat breakfast but I know it is important to, so now that I have these I will start having breakfast. I highly recommend trying these and a plus they are vegan and gluten free, and incredibly delicious. Will definitely satisfy a sweet tooth. It reminds me of those chocolate no bake cookies. I will be regularly purchasing these.
