I like reading Origen's viewpoints. I found the work on Genesis and Exodus more interesting than this one, but still am glad I bought the book. If you are not familiar with Origen, he was one of the most intellectual of the early church fathers. Because of his later views, the Catholic church excommunicated him, but this book does not contain those later ideas. He was martyred for his faith in Christ and remained a true hero in my opinion.
