Fast testing and easy to use
Great and convenient for quick, everyday testing or pre-swim verification. I picked this one up so I could quickly test ph and chlorine at the same time. More advanced kits use the same tube so you have to do one at a time.

Very basic kit but simple and easy to use
Lots of people will tell you to step up a few more levels on a Taylor kit. And they are not wrong really, especially if you want to go deeper into your water composition. If all you want to do is quickly check the PH and chlorine this works perfectly. The solutions last a very long time and it comes with a simple chart to help you balance both. It just plain works, is cheap and can get most people by.

I tried to save money and buy cheaper kits. Who knows what my PH reading result was. What color red is it? Are the droppers really calibrated? After a year of struggling, I tossed all the cheap kits and returned to Taylor. Worth every dollar.
