Detailed and Informative
Brian Lowry's book on season 3 of the X-Files has stood the test of time. Those of us looking back for additional information about one of the best television series ever made will find Lowry's reference useful and interesting. The book is packed with detail and, up to a point, satisfies viewers' interest in knowing more about the series and in particular, about each episode. However, it is largely descriptive and informative; there is little in the way of analysis, let alone sustained exploration of ideas. There are plenty of other texts about the X-Files which do this, such as Deny All Knowledge: Reading the X-Files to satisfy those who wish to investigate from a more academic perspective.Because Lowry's book is at the popular end of the spectrum, rather than the academic, it also includes many still from the series, including a colour section. However, the absence of captions makes these much less informative than they should be.This is a good reference book for those who return to the early series and need a detailed guide to what they are watching.

A great X-Files book to accompany your X-Files Collection!
Trust No One is a complex book that provides insight to any reader about one of the best shows, if not THE best, on television, The X-Files. This book is adorned with many facts and pictures that reveal an enormous amount of behind-the-scenes information that is helpful to a serious fan. I have gathered from it many details that I have put into my own episode guide. I highly recommend this if you are a die-hard X-Phile. Enjoy!

Well worth a read once you've watched the season
A solid and reliable guide to Season 3 of the X-Files. This was arguably the best season, and certainly contains a lot of the memorable episodes. The guide really helps to distinguish them, and provides interesting behind-the-scenes information about each one.
