We have a 44' 5th wheel with 6 jacks, and there is a noticeable improvement in the stability when using the Anderson Jack Blocks. Our rig weighs in at over 23k, but these blocks are built to withstand much more than that. By shortening the length of the jacks, these blocks provide a reduction in overall movement when someone is walk around or when the wind is blowing. This also protects the jack assembly by reducing side-to-side pressure. The heavy-duty magnets make it very easy to attach the block to the jack pad and simplify the process. I highly recommend getting 1" rubber mats to put under the blocks as that helps to disperse the pressure and will protect the blocks from gravel or uneven ground.

Expensive but do the job on sand or soft dirt

Immediately noticeable difference in stability and am able to lower my RV all the way even while not attached to my truck.

The Andersen Jack Blocks are a well constructed piece of kit that reduce the exposed length of the hydraulic levelling rams on my fifth wheel RV. This helps reduce the movement inside the trailer as we walk around. The magnets built in to the blocks ensure easy attachment to the rams before lowering them or setting the auto level. When packing up, the blocks raise with the hydraulic rams and easily detach. When parked on soft earth I will still use pads under the blocks just to spread the weight a little more and stop dirt being pushed up and inside the blocks. All six blocks fit nicely in to my storage bay next to the control panel and are stacked in two columns, three high inside one another. The set of six come with a mat constructed of the same material and designed to be used as a foot wipe before climbing the RV steps. We haven't used that yet but it appears to be capable of doing the job. I can now dispose of the wood blocks I had been using. These Andersen blocks look much better and take the guess work out of where to place them before lowering the rams. The only disappointment I had was from Amazon.com and UPS when they failed to deliver the item within the two day shipping as offered despite getting to within 20 miles of the delivery address. Even after promising another delivery date the item never arrived and I had to re-order with overnight shipping. Amazon did reimburse the cost of that but the new delivery was a week later than originally promised, requiring me to make significant changes to my itinerary.

These are really sturdy. Can’t get any easier to use. They have strong magnets, so all you do is tap them on the legs and done. They creat a wider base on the ground, I feel. They stay put and off you go to level your unit. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars is because they won’t fit under the RV middle support arms. Which means we have 2 that are not used. We recommend. The flat piece is of no use to us.

Strong and stable . I have a 40 ft fifth wheel that needed to have a strong foundation under it. I certainly made the right choice and the cost wasn’t a factor for me if it did the job! Glad have them! I ordered 6 of them
