Amazing balanced and clean sound!
Let me start by saying I rarely write reviews unless something really impresses me. I have the Klipsch R6 In-Ear and Image headphones (which are now discontinued). The Klipsch R6 In-Ear sound fantastic (heavy on the low end but still clean sound overall) and the Image headphones have decent low end but the mids were kind of muffled for my taste. I wasn't impressed with the Image and ended up returning it.Comparing these directly to the R6 In-Ear these have a great low end (a little less than the R6 In-Ear but not by much with very deep bass) and a little better mid and high range. These have the "tsss" sound on cymbals for drums instead of the "shhh" sound which is a great thing! Electronic, House, Hip-Hop, Indie, Rock and any genre I could find sound fantastic on it. I love the R6 In-Ear but I like the On-Ear just a little bit more. The headphones come with a nice cloth bag and don't feel cheap. Even though it's plastic they feel solid and I don't feel like I'm going to break them easily. The R6 On-Ear are the best On-Ear headphones I've heard under the $200 range--for $79. I've had the old Bose Triport in the past but ended up not keeping them. Frankly in my opinion I don't think there's any pair of headphones that can beat the sound out of these for the price. Don't even think, just buy these!

From $30.39 in December of 2017 to $299.99 in 2022???
The sound quality is excellent for the price that I initially paid in 2017 ($30.39), but absolutely nothing warrants this new accelerated price of $299.99 in 2022.

"reference:" loosely translates to "empty sounding" for these phones...
as far as aesethetics go they're as nice as can be expected from Klipsch. zip up case, accessories, fairly well isolated cord that doesn't reverberate in your ears if it jostles, but compared with the new one's, ect, there is a lot of punch missing. Either my ears have been tainted through rock concerts and my last set of Klipsch reference phones (the bronze ones, last gen I think) Or the phones I have are I'd say sorely lacking in bass deliverance. The bass is background in these phones and alongside the black/silver "v" klipsch one's they're not really any more clear to listen to as a result. While it makes them great for internet chat, video games that are too bass heavy to begin with, music sounds bland alongside similar offerings from Klipsch. Unless you Don't like bass, at all, I have to recommend the one series.

Ear cushion problem
Love the headphones but one ear cushion came off .There is a video to show you how but spent hours trying and it seems impossible to do.It seems like a flawed design. If it wasn’t for that I’d give it at least 4 stars

Good sound but they hurt my ears.
Good sound after 18 hours burning. However, they put too much pressure on my ears that I feel pain and they are not as comfortable as my Sennheiser HD219. I will give them away .

best you'll find for 20ish bucks
These are the best 20 dollar headphones I've ever had the pleasure to own. As one other review mentioned, I recommend breaking them in by putting them over a shoebox or something slightly wider than your head if they feel too snug. This gave them a bit of give and they're quite comfortable now. The bass isn't as powerful as a pair of beats, but the over-all sounds, highs, mids, and lows, when together, are much more balanced than beats are. And the bass isn't "bad" either. Just basically the best corded headphones for the price.I won't take a star off for it, but the cord is rather short as well - good for phone in pocket use, but bad if your computer is more than 3 feet from your monitor or something. Still great regardless. They really bring out the awesome sound of the quad dac in the v30 and v20.

excellent headphones at very good prices
excellent headphones at very good prices. ended up giving these up to my niece who only had ear buds and because I got a pair of sennheiser's which provided deeper bass. between the two the Klipsch sounded nearly identical and were much lighter in weight. Given that I don't wear them for more than 30 minutes at a time twice a week I felt that the richer bass was worth the discomfort of heavier headphones. I will get another Klipsch when I get closer to travelling later on this year. All in all these are very well priced and their quality is superb.

Very good for the price.
Very good headphones for the money! I'd recommend them. You will have to spend more if you want much higher quality. I don't use them that frequently so not of much consequence and I did not want to drop $250 or more.
