I found the branded replacement door catch for about $50 EACH. I found this two pack for a fraction of the cost, so I decided to give it a shot. They came quickly and fit my dryer perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

This worked great. The "female" latch catch on my dryer just fell into the machine the other day, and we were having to use duct tape to keep the door shut to dry our clothes. I did an online search and the OEM part was going to cost $38 so I figured I'd give these a shot. Worked like a charm and popped right into the empty slot -- install took all of 30 seconds. A bit worried about the longevity given the plastic not looking super durable but since it came with a 2nd catch, I should be in business regardless. Save yourself the money and give these a try!

I liked this item because it arrived on time and was very easy to install. Much better than any hundred dollar repair character. Dryer is now better than when I paid a repairman over $100.00 to fix it the first time. I did it BETTER with this catch.

The latch was very easy to install and is really worth the money.

Fit perfectly in my Kenmore dryer.
