All the books in this collection are good, some are great. This one is very good.

Very nice I love the recipe's that come in the book amazing

As being a scientist I love play in the kitchen after all it is gastronomic science

While all of these are pulled from various sources and are the 'cliff notes' of the prepping world they give a good outline and place to start without having to buy numerous books with unnecessary information. These give you the meat with out the filer.

This series of books, Storey's Country Wisdom, are all good books to learn old fashioned ways to do things. I'm buying as many of the series as I can. Many that I'm buying are on Kindle.

Don't bother buying this cookbook in conjunction with Baking European Breads because the entire book is identical with the exception of three unique recipes in the European book that is are not represented in this one.My criticisms stem from the fact that there aren't quite enough recipes and the recipes are written in paragraph form rather than bullets. In other words, all the instructions are in one lump of space rather than neatly divided step by step. This means that the baker has to complete a step, find their place, read the next step, and start all over again. It makes the process slower and more difficult.

using as a refrence book might try to use some recipies ifrom it

I like the book. I'm more into bread making than most other cooking recipes. I simply wanted other recipes to know what other people were doing with breads.John
