Update: the charging port has become super loose and the power cords falling out. I’ve found this is a common occurrence with these phone batteries, buy this one only lasted over a month before it failed.Turns your phone into a brick, you could do someserious damage if you chucked it at someone. So technically you have a 2 in 1 phone charger / self defense tool. So far the battery case is performing well, I like that it continues to use the Apple charger.

I left it to charge overnight, no big deal. The next morning, I slot my phone in, good fit, the internal plug in the phone. It doesn't immediately start charging, so I hit the power button on the back and all the blue LEDs light up, but my phone doesn't start charging, and the lights on the back go out after a few seconds.Waste of money, which is a shame because my phone loses charge really fast.

I ordered these 7 times totally. They all stop working for no good reason. You’re better off buying one made by Apple because these packs don’t work for iPhone period.

This charging case is amazing.The battery life is so amazing that it’s one of the best charging case that I ever got. The only problems I have is that one day it randomly stopped working for my phone which was weird. I don’t know why it’s stopped. But it’s fine I just got an replacement. Then when I have my phone and the case on it will unplug at night. It’s annoying but I just charge my phone and the case separately. Other than those problems this case is so amazing. It helped me when my power went out. My phone was the only one that was fully charge.

I had one of these on my iPhone for more than a year, using the battery power daily, and relying heavily on it when on backcountry outings most weekends. I use a GPS app on my phone in preference to a handheld GPS unit for wilderness navigation and recording a track because the phone apps are so much better. The downside is that this drains your phone’s battery. Even more so if there is little or no cell signal and your phone burns energy hunting for one, if you forget to go to airplane mode. (Phone GPS works in airplane mode provided you pre-download maps.)This battery case never let me down, holding enough charge for 2 days of navigation.Although the old case was still holding ample charge for daily use, it was starting to hold somewhat less than I needed for 2 day outings, so I replaced it. I have no doubt it would have met daily needs for quite some time.My current case has been running for a month now with no issues. I expect it will be the reliable power source I came to except in the previous one.

They’re are great for about 3 months and then the plug becomes sloppy and does not recharge. The plug from case to phone has pulled out of two cases (see photo). I have purchased three of these in the past 12 months…not very durable. However I do like the charging case and it holds up to dropping.

The battery charger work great

I wanted to like this. It felt good on the hand but it’s just not durable. I slipped it on and left it. Then it stopped charging. I took off the case only to find the tab broken inside.
