It's pretty hard to find multi socket extension leads with more than a 2 or 3m length so this is great find.I would prefer individual switches for each plug, and a wall mounted design, but this two row option is a reasonable compromise.It's a bit ugly to be honest, so best tucked away. Working well so far and seems quite sturdy. I have tried to see if this power strip failed during some rigorous self-testing. Inserted 8 power plugs and all 5 USB's simultaneously and powered everything on safe in the knowledge that overload protection was present. Ran it all on full power for ten hours continuously. Everything worked perfectly. The unit did not get hot at all. Ultra quiet. It's a sturdy product which feels heavy enough to assure me that it was made from quality materials. The sockets are all well spaced to ensure that plug wires don't hinder each other. Considering this is competitively priced, it is value for money and I totally happy with this purchase. Recommended.

Having now been forced tonwori from home I purchased this fornthe reason I can run all my office equipment and change multiple usb devices all from 1 compact and tidy mini tower with a massive 5m power cord, it has been working with 6 plugs used and 4 USB charging with unit running heat free the bennifit of each side has it own on off switch is a very good feature, usb charging is steady and as fast as my phone charger ,sits firmly on back of desk thanks to 4 rubber feet .

In the covid world I've been working from home an set up a duel screen monitor on my desk. Before I knew it the requirements for power keep getting bigger. monitors, laptop, internet box, Amazon echos. CCTV system, docking station, external hard drive etc.. The list went on. So I needed a surge protected and switchable solution.I spotted this and quickly purchased with next day delivery as the USB strip was a nice added extra to charge my phone direct from the power rather than my laptop.Arrival was quick- next day thanks to the Amazon Amazon prime model. It was simple to set up, plug in one end and arrange the plugs as I wanted.The tower has plugs in sockets in twos. They are fairly wide, so you can get bulkier transformers beside each other, but not all of them, as I have a couple that won't plug together in this (or any socket). Having 4 sides this isn't an issue though.There are 4 individual switches which turn of 2 sockets each switch so map out where you want your sockets to go before you plug all in as if you have things you need on all the time (my cctv and router for example) plug them together. The USB power line is also powered by one of the switches so you need to identify this one and make sure you align this to plugs you need on and off with the usb ports.Overall though it stacks nicely in the corner of my desk and does everything i need. Very happy.

Bought this item for my daughter bedroom, the key thing is 8 way normal power ports and 5 USB ports that is really helpful. And the tower style is also makes plugs looks more tidy and neat. Another good point is each 2 way ports have a switch button so she can turn on when she use, potentially I think it helps saving energy consumption. Of course 5 metre cord is extra bonus, though she doesn’t really need it.

Great extension also with USB charging slots.Small compact foot print and more than enough sockets.Would highly recommend it! 👍

I’m my office there are only two wall sockets. Old houses were like this, in fact I think there might have only been one socket, but we wired one to another and installed an extra one. The shortage of sockets is an issues, especially in my studio office where I have two computers, three monitors and a selection of studio lights. Truth be known I am a cold person, always need the heat on .... so I had to address this lack of sockets in the room and purchase an extension cable. I think it’s useful each side of the extension cable has its own switch so I don’t need to worry if I have left things plugged in. It’s not always convenient to plug and unplug, so the individual switches on each pair of sockets is perfect. I do like the fact I can plug a phone charger cable in too. On the photograph I took it has demonstrated my camera lights the extension socket is very useful.

Update 26/06/2020: I can confirm, the sell has come back to me and offered to send a replacement free of charge. I'll provide further updated once this arrives.This product looks great. BUT, after moving around a few plugs 2 of the 8 broke and have become useable completely. I've contacted the seller to ask how to return but haven't heard back. The reason for messaging is because I've thrown the packaging away. I think this is very poor service.(Will update post IF I get a response). I have till 1st July to return the product.
