I don't often write reviews but feel this line, Baja Basics, deserves it. Several weeks ago while searching for quality organic ingredients to use in making non-toxic body lotions and face creams, I spent several hours doing research and reading reviews. My skin is mature and sensitive so I choose carefully. Almost all of the oils I looked at that were sold by BB received really great reviews. Ultimately, I decided to buy their Rose Water Toner, Rosehip oil, and Jojoba oil - ALL of which I am using daily - morning and night. My skin and I are more than happy!I am going to include all 3 items in one review as I think it's important to know this is not just an isolated product that's incredible but 3. If this is an indication, I would imagine there are many more.Not only is the packaging beautiful – there is a lot to be said about visual impact on our senses - but more than that and most importantly, the quality is wonderful. Regarding individual items:1. I love, love, love the Rose Water Toner– the scent is beautiful and warm. It transports me to a very peaceful, calm place, dissolving stress.2. Over the years I’ve purchased several brands of Rosehip Oil – all organic and all from well-known companies. Baja Basics’ is by far, my favorite – no unpleasant aroma and really nice consistency – not too heavy or too light!3. Finally, the Jojoba is the first I've been able to use consistently without my skin being irritated. I even use it to remove eye makeup.I truly appreciate the quality of the products I've purchased and know I will be a repeat customer. Give it a try, I doubt you’ll be disappointed!

This oil is very rich so you use very little at a time. I like that Baja Basics focuses on giving quality as I don't want my skin to absorb anything harmful. Though I have a sensitive skin, this oil hasn't affected it. I use this oil once a day in the evening after cleaning my skin.As I read that Rosehip oil helps with scars, I use it on my wrinkles to eventually smooth them a bit. It's been almost 2 months but it doesn't seem to have made a difference. Set in wrinkles might need more time (they aren't just fine lines). They are also of great quality. Customer service is impeccable :)

Higher quality rosehip oil than you can find in most stores. A little goes a long way, just 2 or 3 drops on top of moisturizer at night.

Sometimes I open the bottle to take a whiff of the rose scent mmhmmm delicious!This oil has had remarkable effect on my skin and is even more so appreciated during winter dry out times. It puts a smile on my face to know that I have applied something so pleasant, gentle smelling and natural. This rose-hip oil has been a game changer for my skin care routine. I have been trying to change to all organic and natural stuff rather than slathering on chemicals day and night and my dermatologist recommended this stuff.I have very sensitive, oily acne prone skin and when she suggested putting an oil on my already oily skin I was not sure how that would work out. I wish I had before and after photos because I noticed a difference within a week. Before my skin was covered with acne breakouts, was oily and inflammed and now it is completely clear of acne, the oiliness is under control and my skin glows. As a bonus I also noticed that my acne scars and dark spots are fading now I have been using it for 5 weeks and also my fine lines have practically gone. I use it nightly after cleansing with African Black soap and using the rose water spray as a facial toner. During the day I use the jojoba oil and an SPF in the morning after doing same soap and toner routine.This stuff really is amazing and affordable and I for one will be a lifelong convert to this brand.

I have mild rosacea and really sensitive skin on my face, and almost everything I've tried aggravates it. I use the rosehip oil at night, does make my face a little redder, but I think overall my skin is improving. But the best has been using it on my hands and feet. My heels were really dry, cracked and rough, and they're all pink and soft again - haven't look this great in years! I've been trying a lot of foot creams, and this has been the best, works better and absorbs so much better. It's also been great for my nails and cuticles - hands and feet. It just takes a little bit, a few drops at a time. I'm using it a lot, but I think this bottle will still last a while. There is a bit of an odor, kind of fishy/earthy, which on the good side tells you this is high quality rosehip oil. I don't really like the smell, but it doesn't stay long. I can tolerate it, and I'm extremely sensitive to smells. I may try adding a few drops of other essential oils like lavender or tea tree, maybe peppermint for my feet. I really like all of the Baja Basics products!
