Your feet deserve this!
These are very well put together sandals. I wanted a sandal that I did NOT have to velcro open and closed. I wanted the easy release clasp style that I had before. They wore out and I had to go looking for a replacement and these fit the bill. They are sturdy, soft on the insole, and fit tight where it counts to avoid wear marks or blisters on extended wear days.I camped over the Memorial Day weekend with these on everyday, all day and they performed very well.I would like to have had them dry easier, but that is probably a trade-off of the soft interior of the sole. Once they get wet, they pretty much stay wet until they are exposed to warm, dry air for an extended period.I was thinking about using some ScotchGuard on them, but I thought that might make the surface slick or flaky after wearing them for awhile, so I didn't bother.I would give these a 5 star rating, but I did feel like they were a bit expensive for what they are. Casual wear should not break the bank and these were more than I would have normally considered paying for sandals. I only did so because the choices for a clasp style closure was very limited in this style of sandal.I would buy them again without hesitation even though they cost a bit more than I would like.

Finally, a sandal that fits a narrow foot!
I have long, narrow feet and I always struggle finding shoes, and especially sandals, that fit. In fact I've never worn a sandal that wasn't too large. I have a pair of "frankenCrocs" where I cut out a wedge and stitched it back together with zip ties--that's the best I've ever done. I bought a pair of Ecco sandals I thought might work, but ended up returning them. To get the bands tight enough to fit ended up squishing my foot, and they were still too loose. Same with the sandals I wore for years prior to that. They always felt way too wide. Finally, I found a sandal in a narrow size. These fit terrific and feel great! I also really like the buckle that allows for very quick on and off so I don't have to keep opening and closing the velcro band which, in my experience, wears out after repeatedly doing that. I can't speak for those with so called "normal" feet, but for narrow ones, this is a great choice.

Don't hold up well outdoors, who knew. Edit: They've improved.
I'm a gal who's got deformed feet so my options are thin. I barely fit in a size 12 6E mens tie-up shoe by new (has to have the wide sole), and I wear that as required for safety. Outside of that I've been wearing the St Johnsburry sandal as my primary shoe for years, I go through a pair a year and they hold up OK. It seems the soles keep getting thinner and wearing out faster, but maybe I'm wearing them longer and rotating old pairs in vs tossing them. So when I went to order more, I saw these and decided to give these a go. Thinking I could buckle them quietly, vs velcro all the time. Well we order them and I get them early July. I start wearing them in and bring them on my honeymoon in August. Loved them then and didn't think I'd have any problems so I only brought these and home-made knit house slippers (because my shoes would take up 1/3 of the bag if I did).It was 90+F most days, and we were on our feet outdoors walking 2+ mi/day. By the third day, the glue had come undone from the toe to the ball, occasionally catching a pebble, or sidewalk crack much easier. By the end of the 2-week trip I was tripping at least twice a day and the glue had come lose down to the arch. Maybe it was the heat or the amount of walking, but I'm going back to the old sandal if this can't take being the main shoe for a month and a half.Edit- I gave these an extra chance (hey, I like that buckle) The store I got the first pair at saw that Honeymoon damage and replaced them no questions asked. Then NB changes happened, so I had to order here vs NB store. That and the next "yearly replacement" pair has held up better than that first pair, but still these sandals are having a tougher time overall to hold up for an entire year. I'll still order these because my options are thin and these work without having to travel cross-country to one of the few remaining Shoemakers left. Just holding out till 3D printed shoes become more possible (Feetz's algorithm doesn't like my feet...yet).Next Update- Looking at re-purchasing these, this will be the 3rd pair, but it's lasted from Dec 2016 to now (Mar 2018). So they are lasting OK for a shoe I wear so much. Now I need to find a closed toe shoe that's black/neutral for safety/uniform at a volunteer role I have. My old NB 925's are busted, I tried the new 928 and they don't stretch in the toe box enough.

Great Sandals
I love these sandals and can wear them comfortably all day. I have a lot of foot problems, including bunions, among other things, which require me to buy men's shoes (women's aren't manufactured in a wide enough width for the bunion), so I was very happy when I found that not only do these fit nicely, but they are comfortable, and they don't look too clunky on my feet. One of the best features of these is that they can be adjusted at multiple points and thereafter closed with a plastic snap clip, rather than opening and closing the velcro each time. Once you've adjusted them to fit your foot perfectly, you don't open and close the velcro anymore, so it stays exactly in the same place. I've been using them hard for at least six weeks, including getting them fairly wet (but not submerged) and they still look good. There is no visible wear at this point. The one thing I do wish is that they had better arch support. If they had more of that they would be perfect.

Wonderful sandals if the rubber sole would remain glued to leather upper!
I've had several pairs of these sandals over the last few years and I've liked them all very much. Last year I was unable to find any as all the vendors I tried were sold out. This year I started looking early and found a pair. I wore them today for the first time and after about 30 min I noticed the rubber soles were separating from the leather uppers! With a slight tug on the two parts it was obvious that the separation was not confined to the toe area but would soon affect the whole sole. I plan on returning these and hopefully find another pair that is not already coming apart!

This sandal has spoiled me.
Purchased my first Dunham Nolan-Dun a few years ago and they have been IMHO a very comfortable and durable sandal and although my initial pair are still wearable I have just recently acquired a second pair. After having first tried a few of the competition I feel these just feel more secure and confident for all day use and long walks. The removable velcro attached leather footbed allows to facilitate more complete drying and airing to help prolong their life.My old pair "none the less for wear" are still fairing ok but Dunham, sadly do not offer replacement footbeds to prolong their life even further.

Good quality, correct size!
They appear to be sturdy/good quality. Very glad to have found them, as buying size 16 shoes for my husband is always a gamble.
