Printhead Cleaner, TBTeek Inkjet Printer Cleaning Fluid for Canon Print Head Nozzles 100ml Cleaner Kit - Red

The problem with my printer did not turn out to be clogged heads but this kit seemed to work pretty well on my Canon iP4500. I initially used their red liquid but after I got some good flow I then switched to using half rubbing alcohol and half water to really flush things out -- YMMV. Certainly you can reuse the syringes if you are careful with them and clean them off well. It certainly is messy so make sure you have some newspaper underneath your print head and be ready with paper towels, etc..

Take notice how the Syringes have a different size Nozzle Attachments. The one you may need for your Print Head Nozzle may be different, so you get 2 sizes. Other kits that have a piece of Silicon tubing on it & may not work well depending on how the Print Head is designed. Note, you may need to remove the Rubber Seal washer around each Nozzle using Tweezers, so the Syringe adapter you need to use will fit good over the Nozzle itself. I watched an instructional Video that recommended removing the seal washers.

This stuff is the BEST! Very easy to use instructions, and now my printer works like new again. Before buying this kit, I tried to deep clean several times and it did nothing. The black side of the printhead was completely blocked. I did the 8 hour soak and a few runs of deep clean and it is FIXED. This printer had set idle with cartridges in it for a couple of years. I really thought it was beyond recovery. I am so happy with the results, but I will stress that I followed the directions exactly and did not damage the circuitry.Thank you for such a great product!

If initial routine doesn't succeed in correct printing - use the included flush syringes and flush each port clear through with a full syringe clear water. The instructions are to soak in 2ML fluid, then push 5 ml into port and suction back out 4 times. This should clean, but in my case did not produce black print. I pushed 5 ml water through all ports, for the second flush, shook the printhead dry, blotted and shook again, installed and got all colors correctly printing.

Worked perfectly to clean the heads on my Canon MG7520. This kit has made it as good as new. It took 2 tries but both nozzles are printing great now. I did rush the first attempt and didn't allow the solution to act for very long. The second time I let the cleaner sit overnight and that did the trick. I have plenty of cleaning solution left over for future cleanings. This simple kit saved me the cost of a new printer.

This did the job pretty good. Not perfect but better than it was!

Would not buy again

TBTeekk restored my printer to its original print output. The instructions seem a bit tedious when you first read them. They take you through the process step by step, and I was successful the first try. Only wish I new about this product two printers ago.
