I picked up this LEXIVON tamper-proof Torx bit set for some auto and small electronics projects, and it did not disappoint! 🛠️ The bits feel solid and well-made — definitely not cheap or flimsy. The S2 steel gives them that extra durability I was hoping for, and they haven’t rounded out or chipped even under decent pressure 💥⚙️. The fit is tight and clean — no wobble, no stripping the screw heads. The CNC machining really shows with how precise everything locks in. 🧲🧰 I’ve used everything from the T4 up to the T40, and they all performed great. One thing to note: the T4 isn’t tamper-proof like the others, but that’s not a big deal for me. Just something to be aware of. Also, like with any bit set — don’t over-torque. Use the right tool for the right job and they’ll last. 🧼👌 Honestly, for the price and quality, this set is 🔥. Comes in super handy for automotive work, appliances, and anything with security screws. This set is ideal for taking apart devices with very small screws like you find on computer hard drives, as well as larger pieces. I recommended this product.

I bought these since they offered the most complete assortment at the small end. This is a good set for taking disk drives apart being will made and sharp. The T8's tip finally went removing the hundredth bolt so I bought a box of 30 T8's replacements for the hard work. Grinding off the rounded LEXIVON T8 tip fixed the problem and it was back in lighter service. The replacement T8's seem stronger and have held up for over 600 tiny disk drive bolts. The LEXIVON Torx set have tighter tolerances than the replacements and are easier to start and I would buy them again.

I have to be honest, I'm giving this set a good rating more because of what its not than what it is. I can't begin to count all the times I've ordered simple tools or tool sets like this only to be thoroughly disappointed by what I receive, which usually arrives in a plain cardboard box from China. Then over time I've seriously lowered my expectations. The descriptions use all the right high quality and high precision buzz words, but what comes out of the box just isn't what it should be. Take Torx screws for example. They have a torque specification. A T8 has a max. torque of 2.2 to 2.6 Nm (19 to 23 inch-pounds), for example. A T8 bit has got to be able to withstand at least that amount of rotational force without the lobes shearing off, which by the way is exactly what happened to the last set I had and is the reason I bought this one. It's really a sad state of affairs when a tool that is exactly what it should be generates this level of excitement. Since when did actually receiving something useful start exceeding expectations? Point being, in a sea of cheap junk, this set is the real deal. I have to add that the hole for the tamper resistant screws is a great addition. It's hard enough to find a good set that will work well with basic Torx in the first place, and that's meant having to find a bit to deal with the occasional tamper resistant screws if/when you come across one. This set has got you covered no matter what, and all for a good price... considering you can pay as much of not more for something worthless. I also want to add that as tools get smaller, often the smaller sizes aren't as adequate as the larger sizes. For example, I have allen wrench sets where the smaller 1/16 and 0.05 sizes are inadequate even though the larger ones are fine, or small precision screw driver that are inadequate even though the larger ones are fine. This set does not appear to have that issue, from T40 all the way down to T4, they all seem equally adequate.

I bought these to have a set of tamper resistant bits to use with my bit driver...sometimes I need them to fix toys or other household things. So far I have no complaints. The sizes have fit well into the screws, and the bits have held up well. I'm going to order another set to keep in my workshop.

Nice packaging, but right from the box the T5 bit edges failed while torqing an MRDS with a torque wrench. The other bits performed as expected.

Usei muito pouco mas parece ser um produto de qualidade, é muito versátil, pois vc tem torx de precisão e outras robustas que dá pra trabalhar em objetos mais robustos. Custo-benefício muito bom por isso as 5 estrelas.
