Fat, rugged and just plain useful!

There is a couple of cabinet makers I work with that their shop drawings are in centimeters. I use a standard fat max tape measure daily,I’ve tried the other brands and have always went back to my fat max, I decided to upgrade my metric tape measure to the same quality.

I love this tool. The most important is the two lenght, Metric and SAE.This is a hard case.

Tape width and markings very nice. For man cave it’s perfect but wouldn’t carry it all day.

I had a contractor at the house and was amazed that he could measure an entire room without the tape measure getting floppy. I one clicked this guy and could not be happier with the results.As the contractor said, "Once you have a fat max you'll laugh at everyone else's limp d*** tape measures."

Great product, very sturdy, like the large tape area and bull tip !

Metric on one side so it’s only useful from one side. Doesn’t stand out any further than the fatmax did 20 years ago yet it’s twice as heavy and bulky. Hook on the tape is too big. Decent quality is the only thing going for it.

Not a big fan of Stanley tools anymore. This thing does its job but it's a bit big and heavy and the tape comes out quite curved which makes it difficult to read.
