Really bad shoe rack
Felt compelled to review.Really awkwardly designed, unnecessarily complex for what should be a very straight forward concept - shoes on horizontal shelves.Dimensions don't really accommodate any larger sized shoes, you have to angle them in order to fit, leaving less room for other pairs. The time required on assembly is ridiculous for what should be a mini cabinet. Small parts and strange hardware choices. I put it together per the directions but the shelves constantly fall off the tiny pegs that are meant to support them. It's a slippery slidy mess - nothing really locks in place. How could you not account for the depth required in the spectrum of shoe sizes and build it to accommodate? Finally - the doors are weirdly hard to open. There is nothing to grab onto except these half inch furring strips - you get no leverage on the door and can't get your hand around anything to open it. So it's like this really tight pinching motion you have to do, especially if you have large fingers. The soft close hinges are ratched up so tightly so it's like a spring when you finally get the thing to pop open.I'm amazed this got through whatever approval/QC process and actually made it to manufacturing where they made more than 1.I could build a much better shoe rack with backyard sticks and rebar tie.

Nice cabinet
I bought this for the overall size to fit in entry closest that I removed door & leaving open with catch all shelf above. Not using as shoe cabinet so no review on that option. Pro's - Easy to put together one person about an hour & has soft close hing. Con's - There is a deep strach on the top that would be seen if not tucked under the shelf & legs are plastic so spening another $23 to purchase metal legs.PS As for the pictures I plan to darken the wood around my shelf to match cabinet better!!

What is this, a shoe cabinet for ants?
Speaking to the esthetics of the engineered wood, it’s better than expected. However, construction was difficult and even more frustrating was the functionality. I have regular size 9.5 shoes. As shown in photos I only fit 10-11 pairs, evenly spaced apart, and the door don’t close all the way! Therefore this product won’t work for people with average or above average feet

Don't get it if you have shoes more than a size 9
My wife got this. Only her shoes fit in it. I wear 11.5 to 12 and the door has a pretty big opening if I put my shoes on there. It looks nice authentically. Not very practical tho unless you don't install the doors.
