Five Dot Botanics Daily Prep Protecting Face Oil (30ml) Vegan and Fragrant Free Facial Oil with Omega Rich Carrot and Primrose, Vitamins A,B,C,D and E

I was really looking forward to trying out Daily Prep alongside the other Five Dot Botanics products I ordered recently. I love natural skincare products. It means a lot to know I get a quality product free of Parabens and other nasties I wouldn't want on my skin. The product arrived in its cardboard packaging but upon taking it from the box I noted the seal was broken on the bottle and turning the lid gave no tell tale click, and thus it could have already been used. I have to send the product back as there is no replacement policy available only returns.

There is something quite comforting about stripped back skincare and this is one of a range of products from Five Dot Botanics who believe that less is more. So, just five ingredients go into this Daily Prep Protecting Face Oil from this award winning company.I found the oil to feel a bit heavy to start with but it actually became lighter when massaged in and it absorbed well. I think it is worth taking the time to give your skin a proper massage, rather than just slapping it on your face - yes I do that when short of time but it is definitely worth the effort as it really feels like a skin treat. After use my skin felt very soft and hydrated. The oil does have quite an earthy aroma, similar to other Five Dot products, so it’s not really fragrance free as described but it’s natural rather than a chemical. The bottle is only 30ml so it is rather expensive but it is nice to treat your skin with a natural product which does make it feel really nourished.

This protecting face oil is made from a great range of oils and ingredients to really protect, soothe and nourish tired, irritated and dry skin. I do like to use this both day and night, and find it is perfect for both, leaving skin with the right amount of hydration, glow and suppleness to complement the rest of my skincare routine. This smells lovely, I love the mix of ingredients and scents, and applies easily, sinking in well but leaving a lovely, hydrated shine to skin. I love that the packaging looks natural and that the bottle is glass and reusable. The price is on the high end but I can say this is worth it for the quality and ethos of this brand. This works perfectly as part of my skincare routine, both day and night, and with use of the other products from this brand my skin is feeling amazing! A very nice skincare find for me and I'll keep my eye out for their other products.

A bit Pricey oil at £26 for 30ml, but two drops is enough to spread over my entire face leaving it intensely moisturized and bright. It comes in a dropper which makes it feasible to control the amount of use.When applied, it initially feels oily and rich in my fingers but within few minutes of massaging it into my face, it sinks in my skin transforming it into baby skin smooth and magnificently hydrated while absolutely leaving NON OILY texture. I believe this is because it's botanic ingredients are full of fatty acids, vitamins, and seeds extracts which helps in moisture-locking.It smells naturally earthy so I am not sure about the "fragrance free" description unless the smell is from the botanic ingredients.

I like the control I have when using the dropper and a little oil goes a long way. The packaging is made out of glass, so I like the weight that it has.My skin feels so nourished and glowy. I have normal skin and rarely get pimples, so this oil has been calming my maskne down. It moisturised my skin, made it look more healthy and clear.The oil is really lightweight and absorbs almost immediately into the skin and It doesn't make my skin greasy.It revitalises and softens my skin, leaving it smoother and more radiant.It contains Carrot oil which is high in Beta Carotene and a lot of Vitamins.
