UPDATE 4/23/2020 The perch is still going strong a long time later. Zero carpet shedding. So much so i was extatic to find larger cat trees offered. I added the picture of one of them i recently got. My maine coon now is over 20 lbs and he is VERY long and over a foot tall (floor to back when he stands on the 4 legs). Perfect fit for him just as the perch. I just ordered a third tree becasue my other 2 cats love it too. Great price for what you get. And im VERY happy to get rid of these hideous brown carpet old cat trees... there is no coming back. Who said a cat furniture piece has to look ugly? UPDATE 7/22/2019 Months later, the perch is holding up greatly. No carpet pieces falling off, no wobbling, a vacuum and looks still brand new. Used daily now by 3 cats. Surprisingly the bottom cubicle is loved by ALL my cats, even the indoor/outdoor one (15 lbs). Often i find one sleeping in it. I added a flat large cat pillow on the top perch and now is the fave spot of my tiny Micia and Big Maine coon (now almost 20 lbs) Im so happy i could cry. As any large breed or chubby kitty owners know, the quest to find something that fits them is neverending. I am remodeling my office and needed something stylish AND very large for my Maine coon but also needed something for my tiny fluffy black girl. I came across this Go Pet Club Sequoia Cat Tree with no reviews and a price tag a bit stiff for a perch with cubicle... But when i read the size i couldnt believe it. I had to triple check. Something with sleek line, black and grey to match my home office design AND the impossible to find big kitty size??? SOLD! Just got it today. I LOVE it. Took me 20 minutes to build. It literally takes 9 giant screws to build. Loved the fact that the cube is soft plush on the sides and board top/bottom. . It stands with 4 furry small poles to insert in the corners and screw to the bases. The 2 back poles are HUGE so i do not worry that will break down with use. The carpet is compact and short, yet pretty soft. The plush is a MAJOR upgrade from the old Pet Go Club cat furniture plush! Thicker and softer. But now lets go to the BEST part of it. A Huge top Perch: 24.5"W x 15.5"L... My 2 half years old teen age Maine Coon Griffin weights 18 pounds but he is VERY tall and VERY long. When he comes on my bed feels like sleeping with a toddler. He fits. Omg he fits. I dont know if i was more incredule or he was about him fitting lol. The bottom 16x16 inch cube is such a huge platform too! just as big as those foot rests. My lil black furry 6 lbs Micia will love snooze either inside the cave or on top of it. I'm SO happy i took the chance of being the guinea pig with this product. FINALLY!

Update: did not live up to our expectations. This expensive cat tree is useless after less than two months. I noticed it wobbling when our cat would jump onto it. Upon inspection, I noted the particle board filler inside of one of the posts is completely broken apart. This happened just days after the return window. Very disappointed with this. And so is the cat. His perch that he loves to sit on is in pieces on the floor. Original review (4 stars) Sturdy, and the cat seems to enjoy it so far. It wobbles a tiny bit, but it might just need to be retightened. It was easy to assemble, except the hole on the bottom of the little house wasn’t drilled in the right spot. We had to measure and drill a new hole.

I was nervous ordering this cat tree as my cat really loved the old one. But she took to this immediately and loves it even more. I did remove the big hanging rope b/c it wasn’t of interest to my cat. I added a small pet bed to the top platform to give her a little more comfort (and slightly bigger platform edge cuz she likes lean up against an edge). I’m terrible at putting things together but this was incredibly easy. It’s very sturdy. I’ve had it for 2 weeks now and intermittently check the tightness of the top platform (Cuz that’s where my cat loves to nap most of all) and it’s stayed nice and tight. I will note that it would have been a bit easier with a 2nd person b/c it was a little tricky getting the back posts in the cubes. But I did it by myself in around half an hour. And it’s completely gorgeous. It looks great. And my cat loves it. Win-win.

I wish I could say that Squid and Sam were delighted with their new "condo" but they are simply not yet interested. Just moved into our new place with so many other things to be investigated by the feline residents at the instant. I can say that I love the look of the product, and it is much more stable and sturdy than I expected. Well worth the cost. Very attractive and should last quite some time. I am sure the cats will become interested in a few months' time.

This cat tree is great for larger cats. As you can see, both of my cats take up most of the upper shelf when they sprawl out at the window and trust me they're not your average size. The construction of the material isn't the most durable by itself but since there are two posts it supports the cats weight well without any wobble. The enclosure was a bonus which I honestly wanted because my cats are seniors now and need the extra stepping platform. Seems like they actually like going inside of it though. Overall solid piece of cat furniture and exactly what I was looking for.

It's easy to assemble, perfect size, and very sturdy. The problem, and the reason I deducted 2 stars from the review: The SMELL. The carpeting, or maybe it's the glue, AFTER 4 MONTHS, still has a strong chemical smell. It's strong enough that I can smell it just walking by it, and I'm pretty sure it's the reason the cats don't care for it. I've tried fabric freshener sprays, and tried wiping it with soap & water. I think I'm going to have to take it outside for a thorough soaping and jetwash. BUT I fear that much water will ruin it though since it's made from particle or mdf boards which will absorb the water :(

This is the second one of these cat trees we have bought. We love them because they are built to last, have multiple levels, are easy for the cat to get in/out of, and the scratching posts are huge and durable.
