Springbok's 500 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle Peaceful Moments - Made in USA

Personally, I have not seen the puzzle, as I had it sent to a friend so that I could present this to another friend as a gift. She said, the outside image of the puzzle was very beautiful.

At first I almost decided not to continue with this puzzle. I guess I was maybe starting another puzzle too soon after the 25 I'd done last year and wasn't quite up to the challenge. All the light colored pieces overwhelmed me. I was a little irritated that I had to press on each piece fairly hard to get it to stay in. But being the persevering person that I am, I continued on. I'm really glad I did. As I continued, I realized that it was a good/well-made puzzle. I've done hard ones before, and even though I did this one in just a few days, I still found it pretty challenging. To me, the colors in the picture were a little off from the colors in the puzzle pieces, but in many cases, I just went with shape and texture. It was hard reaching to the top of the puzzle, so I just worked the top on a separate piece of cardboard, then attached it later. The pieces stick together better than any puzzle I've worked on....which means if I want to save this one and frame it, I won't need to glue it, but rather just keep it behind the plexiglass frame, intact. I found that all the pieces went together well and I never really found that 2 pieces fit in the same spot. So.......I'm glad I didn't give up. It was a very enjoyable experience. And the image reminds me of my childhood.

I loved that no piece of the puzzle was exactly like another. It was very interesting to put together for that reason. The pieces were sturdy and fit tightly and were not as small as some other puzzles are. I also loved the picture! Wanted to order another Springbok puzzle but could not find one with another picture that I liked at this time. Maybe there will be more choices later. I like 500 piece puzzles.

My sister and I have been buying Springbok puzzles for our mom for years now. This is the first year that the puzzle quality wasn't as great as usual. There were some pieces that were not cut properly and where the picture did not line up as usual. We buy these puzzles because they have consistently been of the highest quality. My mom reached out to the company with theses concerns but never heard back from them. Slightly disappointing. I hope this was an anomaly and is not indicating a decline in quality.

I bought this puzzle to take with me over the holidays. I shared a beach house with my entire family and we always do puzzles together as we drink, eat and catch up on the events of our lives. I didn't want a puzzle that was too hard but still presented a challenge. I have learned that the hard ones drive folks away and the puzzle sits, unfinished. We enjoyed working on this puzzle, figuring out where the reds and purples fit in. My only complaint is that the cuts weren't always crisp. Some of the pieces didn't fit in as well as they should have. When the puzzle pieces have to be worked in it makes you think you might be trying to put a piece into the wrong spot.

Quality of the puzzle was great. Also loved the picture so was a little disappointed when the puzzle was completed to find out we are missing 4-5 pieces. I had planned on ordering more puzzles but would like to find out if they will send the additional missing pieces so we can complete this puzzle or what they will do in this situation. I don't want to continue to order new puzzles if this will be a trend.

Very happy with this purchase. The pieces are thick enough and durable enough, such that the puzzle can be assembled multiple times, and shared with friends and relatives. Recommended.

Didn’t care for the way the pieces fit. It was my first Springbok. Not sure I would buy this manufacturer again.
