Croakies Original Glasses Strap, Pink 32" x 1"

I like them

I had the same Croakies for 31 years (yep, that's not a typo) and they were great. I used them for my sunglasses mostly and often wore them in the water or out skiing/snowboarding. They were still snug, comfortable and pliable after all the time and wear and tear. The only reason I searched for a new strap was because the stitching on the Croakies finally started to come apart because the material was starting to degrade a bit.After buying 2 other sets of eyeglass straps, I was surprised but pleased to see that the new Croakies look just like my old ones ... exactly! And they are made in the USA. Just like with my first pair that I got in my 20s, I have zero complaints about the function, design or comfort of my new Croakies. The profit margin is probably pretty good given the fabric and thread used to make these but well worth how great they are! I look forward to wearing my Croakies into my 80s!

The brand name is printed on the wrong side! Poor quality control reigns.

I wanted to start swimming as a workout each morning. My eyesight is horrible, so I always need my glasses. Even though I only do strokes that keep my head above water, I quickly realized I'd be up a creek without a paddle if my glasses were to fall off. There would be no way I could find them at the bottom of the pool. I got these red Croakies so my glasses would float and be a bright color, giving me the best chance to get them back. Now I'm able to swim worry free!

Fit is not the greatest, loose

I had used croakies years ago when I skied. Most recently, because my glasses fell from being tucked into my shirt, and the lens got scratched, initiating a costly repair at Maui Jim. I got these to avoid that happening again.

I bought this to replace an old one I had for years for my sunglasses (to wear while kayaking). This is good (similar material, better color than old one) but it is 1" - 2" shorter than the one it is replacing. (Make it smaller to cut costs?) As such, it is not as loose around the back of my head when I have the sunglasses on and a bit snug when hanging on my neck. It will take some getting used to.

I liked the fit, the colors, and the ease of use.

Croakies are the best type of eyewear retainer I have ever used. I have a few pairs of glasses which have wider side arms and the Croakies fit them perfectly. Once the Croakies are fitted to my glasses, I am them confident that I won't lose them as, once off your face, they just rest comfortably around your neck meaning that I didn't lose them.They also last for a very long time (my first pair I bought in the US some 25 years ago and that pair are still going strong!).

Este retenedor para las gafas es bastante útil para evitar que los lentes se resbalen o se caigan al suelo cuando uno mira para bajo, el único inconveniente es que las varillas de los lentes en la parte donde estarán sujetadas a las orejas (las puntas) deben ser menores a 1 cm de altura debido a que el retenedor no entra en este tamaño, intente colocar el retenedor en las gafas donde las puntas de las varillas median 1 cm de altura pero no entraron, así que los instale en otras gafas donde la Altura de las puntas de sus varillas eran menores a 1 cm y si quedaron, ahora los utilizo diariamente son cómodos y su color me gustó, sin embargo deberían de corregir la entrada de las puntas (que sean elásticas) del retenedor para que sean mas prácticos, porque en gafas/lentes con puntas de varillas de 1 cm o mas Altas no quedan.

Excelente, me ayuda mucho cuando voy en bicicleta de montaña y no se mueven nada mis lentes. Es un diseño sencillo pero efectivo, el único pero que le pongo es que después de un rato genera calor pero eso puede ser una ventaja dependiendo de la situación.

Es indispensable para hacer actividades con lentes, especialmente si hay constante movimiento de la cabeza o sudoración.

Realmente muy buenos.Me ayudan bastante al momento de salir a correr.Prácticamente se ajustan a mis necesidades.Incluso compré otro para usarlo con mis lentes de trabajo, ya que al trabajar en alturas me han servido para moverme con más confianza y seguridad sin el temor de que se me resbalen a causa del sudor.
