While some people complained that the cushion was too thick or uncomfortable, I found it to be just right. It gave me enough support to protect my injured tailbone from pressing against any surfaces that would cause pain. I found it comfortable to use while riding on rough terrain in my husband's truck. It fit on the seat well, & helped me eliminate the previous pain I experienced even on city streets. It helped to lower the truck seat and occasionally reposition how I was sitting, or reposition the cushion itself. It fit my bottom well with some room to spare, and the downward sloped front edge has never presented a comfort issue, either. I previously tried an inflatable "donut" that was awful, in comparison. I weigh about 130 lbs. I thought it was a good value for the price, especially compared to some of the others.

With a tailbone injury, it's been quite uncomfortable and even painful to sit on just about any type of chair. So, after searching through the many seat cushion options, and reading the reviews, I decided to try this one out. I'm glad I did since it takes the pressure off my tailbone so now I can actually sit comfortably.It's now been a few months and it's still in it's original shape and thickness. It's memory foam with a firmness that I find comfortable. It hasn't softened or flattened and I don't find it gets too warm (which is sometimes an issue with such cushions). I'm definitely glad I got it and am considering another one for work.

I bought one of those "gaming chairs", which for some reason slants the sides at a steep angle, forcing you into the middle - with no wiggle room. Fine for a few moments, but after a while, that becomes unpleasant, especially for heavy people - like me.This is the solution. It's thick enough to get me into a higher position on the slanted edges, thus allowing me more wiggle room side to side. The gamer chair also had very little padding on the seat bottom, which flattened out pretty quickly. This helped with that, too.The cutout in the back of this pad is wonderful after sitting a while, because it completely relieves the pressure on your sensitive bottom bits, & back.Pros:+ Quite thick padding, so that helps a lot on flat/hard seats.+ Wide enough for my extra size bottom.+ It stays put fairly well, but some movement is to be expected from a loose seat pad.+ Butt cutout in back is quite a relief on your back & bottom - Moreso than you'd think.+ I've used it for several months, and it still puffs back up & maintains it's shape.+ I've not noticed any overheating from sitting on it. None beyond any other chair, anyway.Cons:+ It does need to be held in position as you sit down, but I don't see any way around that.+ It may impede circulation to your legs, if you position it badly. (too far forward).+ It is wide enough, but just a bit too short front to back, in my case.Overall, I use it many hours a day. It does it's job, & it's been a real help with salvaging an expensive, but uncomfortable chair I'd just bought only a few months prior. Far better than buying one chair after another, hoping to find one that fits, & holds up over time. The rest of the chair was fine, but it just hurt my bottom. This seat pad fixed that issue. It stinks that I had to buy it - but that's the chairs fault, not the pad.

Fell off my bike and my luck, I landed in the bushes ... Directly on a hidden pipe sticking up with a rectangular box on the end. Caused so much pain I couldn't even barely touch the tailbone without jolting up (made it hard to get dressed or put on shoes or even bathroom or just sitting in general). This seat thing does its job excellently. I could finally sit to do things like eat and getting dressed without extreme pain. It took like 8 weeks for the pain to go away and this thing helped so much. I still use it now as a seat cushion because it's so comfortable (ugly but comfortable).

This is one of the best seat cushions for people with sciatica or back pain. Makes you want to just sit all day as the relief is so great. Material is super - both the cover and the foam they use. I am getting 3 of them, one for each place I sit in the home.

This is a very good product.My driving shift is typically 11hrs a day.. this is definitely high density foam.. I do have to adjust it a couple times during my shift but that would go for any seat cushion. For 25.00 this is the best bang for your buck !!

I bought one of these to help me with my back pain, and I'll be buying more so that I don't have to keep lugging it around. It helps me sit for longer periods.

I've been using this gel memory foam cushion for quite some time and highly recommend it. My task chair would become uncomfortable and this has provided great relief. The memory foam has not flattened, even with daily wear. The outer, zip cover is soft and easy to remove for washing. Terrific product.

I bought this to help relieve hip pain from sitting. It provides the support I need! Would buy again.

I haven't used it as much to tell if it works for the pain, however I ordered this after doing some research and seems like a good cushion for tailbone pain relief, will be using for a long trip during the flight, will update on my experience after.
