Unlike the Mexican cajeta, which is made from goat's milk, this Spanish product is made from high-quality cow's milk. It is very similar in taste and consistency to the Argentine dulce-de-leche and is very much worth the price that is asked. Delivery was quick and efficient, no problems whatsoever on that score. I would recommend this product and will doubtless buy it again.

This product was so yummy, I was so bummed that it didn’t keep very long. I am not sure why as it didn’t appear to be out of date. I just opened it up to use it one day and it had gone bad. Not sure if I would buy it again as it was a bit costly. May try another brand because of that reason. I only had it a couple of months so I was really surprised it went bad so soon after opening it.

I bought it because I was looking for dulche de leche without preservatives, flavorings, or any lab made add ons, other brands contain. Used it to make Argentinian cookies, and it worked really well. The texture it soft enough to spread on a short bread cookie without crumbling it, the flavor is great. Will buy again for sure.

This brand is quite average in terms of flavor, albeit, extremely expensive. Both jars combined equate to 900g of product. I tried every commercially available Dulce de Leche and made my own from evaporated milk, so I have a good understanding of what stands out in terms of flavor and what does not.HINT - Try Havanna brand (800g single jars) for under $11.XX when purchased on a different yet popular site, free shipping from Buenos Aires, delivered in less than 5-days.
