Excellent thermos. Using it for tea ceremonies, so I keep opening and closing every few minutes and it doesn’t seem to affect the water temperature. Didn’t measure exactly how long it keeps liquids hot, but I left water in it for around 6 hours and when I went to empty it, the water was still hot enough that I couldn’t hold my finger in it. Had it for a few days and cannot find a single fault.Pros:- keeps water very hot for multiple hours- opening mechanism works well, no leakage when closed- pours nice and slow, without spilling- absolutely love the matte black outside, looks very sleek- the metalic smell of a new thermos went away with a first flush of hot waterCons:- As most matte materials, you may see some fingerprints on it, but I had to search for them from an angle to see them, not visible just by looking at it. However, I previously had basic silver thermos and that was way worse with fingerprints.Cannot report:- I only use it at home, so I don't know how well it will hold the liquid inside if shaken for a long time or left horizontaly. I tried to shake it above the sink from all angles at full capacity for a minute or two and there was no leakage, but cannot tell if that will apply for longer times as well.Would buy again?- Absolutely. I was a bit hesitant because I don't care much about brands and I was afraid that the quality might suffer due to that, but it's for a very good price with no problems so far.

I’m really disappointed. It worked great at first but recently the heat started penetrating through. I can’t even pick it up if there’s something hot inside because it will burn my hand. It’s useless- one month after the return period ended.UPDATE: the company was very responsive and shipped me another one out of no obligation. They have wonderful customer service! They’re definitely keeping my business!

First the good - the bottle looks great. I got the wood colored bottle. The pouring mechanism is pretty good too. You get the hang of it after a couple pours.However, I do have 2 complaints and am not sure if it was just my bottle or all of them. First, I poured 180 degree F water in the thermo (i took the temp with a thermometer). The outside of the bottle got pretty hot. It was uncomfortable to hold. I def wouldnt let my 2 year old touch it. And second. The temp dropped from 180 to 132 with in 1.5 hrs. I would have thought the water would have stayed hotter longer. I am using it for my mate so I would like it ideally to stay above 160 for maybe 2+ hours.Will return and try another one.

Hands down to the best customer service I have ever experienced. This sellers deserve 5+ star on my rating. I have posted a question regarding a replacement that I needed for my thermo and the seller personally contacted me an offer a brand new thermo without any hesitation. The water Cap is not durable! I had an issue with it about 5 months in where all of the components making the cap fell apart. With a little effort I was able to put it back together for it only to happen again a month later. This time I wasn't able to put anything back and one of the pieces actually went inside the thermal and was almost imposible to get out. Overall the mate is great but sadly not durable. To make matters worse, I wasn't able to find another Cap to replace the old one. My parents mate usually lasts year just like my old one so for this one to only make it a couple of months doesn't say much about the quality.

I got the light blue thermo to match my mate and it does perfectly, the finish is matte and slightly chalky (which I like, but after only 2 days it has some black scuffs so I'm concerned about the paints longevity). In addition to the scuffs it actually arrived with a small dent in the base (which is superficial, but again makes me concerned about how this is going to hold up in my life as a backpacker). On the plus side, I did a heat retention test (poured just boiled water into the room temp thermo, sealed it up and saw how long it would remain hot) after 5 hours the water was still letting off a lot of steam and too hot to submerge a finger in (it's currently Sept. in Northern Mexico so it's not a drastic temp difference making dramatic steam)

I am so happy I ended up purchasing this thermos! It keeps my water hot for so long, I've never seen anything like it! And the best part about it is how great the design is, I always get compliments on my new thermos which is awesome!

This product is worth the money. Besides it’s sleek design and the uniqueness it truly does keep your coffee extremely hot and it taste so good as if you just finish making a cup of coffee fresh brew. They have different styles depending on your likeness but it’s so worth the money. I gave it all thumbs up of this product.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

In many ways, this is a very good thermos for stored hot water for tea, yerba mate, or any other hot beverage. Unfortunately, for the high price, there is one very disappointing aspect to this product that make the price point just ridiculous.In our search for a container for water for yerba mate, we looked at several factors:1) Volume of water stored2) Pour spout design3) Insulation4) Form factor (ie how easy it is to hold)5) Leak-proofI'll start with the one bad aspect of this container. The single worst thing about this product is it's ability to insulate the water inside. Once filled with hot water, within seconds the outside of the thermos becomes quite warm, indicating that heat readily escapes this bottle. This is certainly not a vacuum-sealed container by any means. Keeping water in this container is only slightly more heat-retentive than keeping the water in the kettle that boiled it. This downside is particularly disappointing given the extremely high price of the container. At ~$80 I would have expected this to have the same level of insulation as a high-end vacuum-sealed container like a S'well bottle.Fortunately, the lack of insulation is where the bad news stops. In every other aspect this is a good container for hot beverages - so long as you plan to drink the beverages before they cool off. The bottle holds a good amount of liquid, making it much more convenient than using a kettle to pour water for mate. The bottom of the bottle has a rubber foot protecting your table from scratches and heat. The bottle is tall and narrow, making it easy to hold with one hand. The bottle is free from any leaks and the pour spout, while taking some getting used to, works well and allows the right volume of water to pour for drinking mate.Overall from a functional standpoint, this container is great if you use it for beverages that you plan to consume right away. It's particularly helpful for anyone who drinks mate with features that are thoughtfully designed to make the experience better. Just don't plan on using this container to take hot beverages on a trip because it will be cold by the time you plan to drink it. Lastly, this product is most definitely overpriced for the quality. A more appropriate price given the quality would have been in the $50 range.
