What fuel ratio is needed?

Comes with one ounce bottle of premix in the box. The bottle has earthquakes own label so there's no way knowing what brand of oil is actually within. Like almost all 2-stroke motors now days the manufacturer recommends a 50 to 1 mix. I'd recommend using ethanol free gas if available in your area for your mix. If not you can always buy per-mix in the can which is ethanol free.

Do you mix the oil and gas

Yes, I believe it comes with a small bottle of oil for a gallon of gas.
