Stride Rite Soft Motion Baby and Toddler Boys Kellen Casual Sneaker

So many shoe stores discontinued sizing shoes because of Covid, so I opted to order a number of Stride Rite shoes and physically try them on in the comfort of my home. These fit great, they open so wide and it’s easy to me to put on while the Velcro keeps them securely in place. Perfect first shoe!

I said this shoe fits as expected because I read everyone’s reviews and decided to order them in extra wide because my son has some pretty fat feet right now. And sure enough, they fit him perfectly. If I had tried the wide, I think they would’ve been too tight.We love this shoe though. It’s been pretty durable and easy to put on and clean. They are perfect for our one year old who is just starting to walk. And he actually keeps them on! Which is not usually the case with him and shoes... 🤦🏼‍♀️ Now if only I could find a pair of soft motion sandals for him for the summer, that aren’t for girls, that’d be spectacular!

Shoe fits are fairly wide footed baby well, easy to get on and secure, stay on well. Small profile and easier for him to walk in than some other shoes we tried that were bulkier. Grips well and helps him from slipping. Really like these.

We transitioned our son from soft sole walking shoes for beginners to these nice sturdy shoes once he hit 17 months old. It worked perfectly and just in time for the fall/winter weather! It’s been a couple months of wearing them and they are good as new!Photo here is with our son wearing them on the wrong feet because my husband couldn’t figure it out. Trust me it’s quite easy to tell.

so easy to get on and off, soft and very flexible

Really like them so far. A few little strings did come loose pretty quickly and my toddler would notice them sticking out and say "uh oh!" but he likes these shoes and they stay on well. He did seem to have cold feet after we took him back from about an hour's evening walk at 40-50 degrees, but for moderate climates I'd say these are warm enough. Didn't seem to slow him down at all. He pretends to fall down occasionally too, but I think he's just playing with the grippiness and not actually having a hard time with them.

Love these shoes! Bought these as our son’s second pair of everyday shoes, wanting something that was sturdier than his first, leather-soles shoes, but not too rigid—these are perfect! The rubber sole is what he needs for being outside, but it’s still flexible, and the rounded toe keeps this next phase of footwear from being a tripping hazard. Also appreciate the way the tongue of the shoe opens wide, making it easy to put on him. Highly recommend!
