Moon Kissed - Review
Their family line was cursed by a voodoo priestess generations ago. Now, they work to keep the peace between all the supernatural beings in New Orleans.Miles has no intention of bringing a wife into their world. It's bad enough being in the radar of the current voodoo priestess in New Orleans. That is until he saw her.Addison was having a very bad day. Then she walked into a bar for lunch and came out with a job. It didn't hurt to have his blue eyes trained on her either.Fate isn't done with Addison. She's been targeted by the voodoo priestess. Miles, sworn to protect her, is on the hunt to find Addison after she's been kidnapped for a voodoo ritual.Moon Kissed is a quick novella that'll leave you howling for more.

the Beginning of an Adventure
I liked the story and that there is an intriguing plot going on that is clearly going to carry on through the series. I think my only issue is the dialogue at times seems a bit odd between the characters. Like forced words if that makes a bit of sense.

Intriguing characters, great story.
I loved the development of these characters. Not only the main characters but the supporting ones as well. The story develops quickly. Longing and danger wrapped up with intrigue. Fast paced but well worth it.

exciting
Great story about werewolves, witches and more. A lot of old family history and curses. All the characters seem intriguing and I can’t wait to read their stories.

Good book but need to read Chiasson Series first
Moon Kissed is the first book in the LaRue Series by Donna Grant but it is obviously a follow series to the Chiasson Series which I have not read so there were some storylines that I didn't understand. They referenced things from the previous series without really explaining what had happened. However, it is an enjoyable shifter book. This book centers around Addison who is a college student having trouble paying for school so she ends up working at the Gator Bait Bar and Grill. She grew up in New Orleans but doesn't realize that the supernatural community really exists. She is attracted to Myles LaRue who along with his brothers owns the bar and grill.the LaRue family was cursed by a Voodoo Priestess to be werewolves and they hunt other supernaturals. (There is a backstory with a voodoo priestess from the previous series that I didn't have and would have made this book a lot more enjoyable). There was plenty of action and fun characters. I will have to go back and read the Chiasson series before I read anything else in this series. Only 3 stars due to the gaps (not really a stand alone or 1st book in a series.)

Great story, bad grammar.
I really liked the book, the story was intense and original. I also love NOLA, visiting the city often. I gave this book 4 stars although it kept my interest and its werewolf lore was great. I am surprised that a seasoned author such as Ms. Grant had so many grammar mistakes (not in dialogue) but in descriptive writing where grammar really counts. It did take me out of the story at times. I loved the plot and the characters, it’s a book worth reading, but it would be a 5 star read if she had a good editor fix her mistakes.

Intertwined series
This series is intertwined with the Chaisson series. So I would advise that you read that one first. The book is short but packs a punch. This story involves the La Rue's keeping the five factions of New Orleans at peace. The problem comes in the form of Delphine, a Voodoo Priestess.Myles is one of the La Rue brothers. They are cursed with shapeshifting into wolves. He meets Addison at their place of business and is instantly attracted to her. The evil Delphine has to then insert herself into Addisons life.

This is a great start to what I feel will be a wonderful ...
One thing to say, THANK YOU DONNA GRANT!! We are blessed with another Cajun family in a new series. The cousins to the Chiasson family, the LaRue brothers run the Gator Bait bar into which Addison Moore enters for lunch and ends up with a job to help her pay her bills. Myles LaRue is immediately smitten but is reluctant to do anything about it because his family has been cursed as werewolves and he shy's away from involvement. Delphine, the voodoo priestess from the the Chaisson series is back to stir up trouble and she has marked Addison as one of her targets because Addison has a truly innocent spirit and Delphine needs it continue her evil ways. This is a great start to what I feel will be a wonderful series. Donna Grant has not disappointed me yet.

A good paranormal romance
When I started this book I felt like I'd kinda jumped the cue, there seemed to be a back story to the La Rue brothers I was missing. However I soldiered on and got the jist of their history once I got into the story.I liked that this was a quick satisfying read with mild drama and suspense, a fairly good romance story between Myles and Addison, and the story line was fairly good.I look forward to reading book 2

Great Quick Read!!
This is the 4th book in the Chiasson/LaRue series but the first in just the LaRue series. These stories, I always find a wee bit too short as they are only novellas. However I couldn't put it down! I loved the attraction and Chemistry between Myles and Addison. There was action, passion and though I have not read many werewolf books.. I will be adding them to my list! I am looking forward to reading more about the LaRue brothers as well as the Chiasson sister!

A fantastic start to a new supernatural series
Myles is attracted to the new bar worker addison but he doesnt intend to do anything about it as shes human, soon her life is in danger so myles has to protect her from an evil voodoo priestess who wants to kill her, myles takes her to his home as it is warded against evil and is the only safe place for her. What follows is a short story that has plenty of non stop fast paced action and a sizzling romance with great characters, i couldnt stop reading and i was drawn into the story from the first page, this is a fantastic start to a new series.
