National Lampoon's Senior Trip (DVD)

One of my favorite national lampoon movies, highly recommend if you are a fan of the series.

If you're reading this: hello! We should probably take a second to think about why both of us have the time required to revisit this movie, National lampoon's Senior Trip, and what it all means about us as people.Well, I remembered Kevin McDonald and his fun Star Trek bit. If the entire movie was just the story of a delusional crossing guard who thinks he's Captain Kirk on an away mission, this movie would have been great.But, that's not what happened here. This movie is an embarrassment for all involved. Some good gags with decent comic timing, but it's all wrapped up in a second-rate teen party comedy. It gets better as the bus moves along, but this is not the lost comedy classic that we are trying to dig up. Why do we do this? Why are we here?Please, go for a walk.

So, they say that the more advanced the mind is, the more it craves mindless play. I like to think that rather than be known as a moron, but I love this movie.It's dumb, juvenile, simplistic, glorifies dope heads, has mischievous grade school pranks, features promiscuity and is outright implausible, but it's also genius and entertaining from the script, to the acting and directing.If you like Cheech and Chong movies, Star Trek parodies, and at least knew of Max Headroom, you will adore this movie even more. Most people will NOT get it, I am sure.I wish I had seen it in the theater as my friend did. She told me that she saw a matinee of it where there was her and some other person in the entire theater. After fifteen minutes, she was the only one watching it. While she did not praise it, later when I caught it on satellite for the first time, I told her I felt honored I knew someone who actually paid to see it first run! She still does not get it though and thinks it's still an awful stupid movie.Stupid fun it is and I will not go into the story so you just have to watch it!

Used to watch this movie a lot as a kid back in the 90's. Had it on a videotape that was recorded from network syndication. Was great to get a blast from the past that was much better quality than that worn out old tape. This is one of National Lampoons lesser known titles, but it checks all the boxes. Great film here.

Tommy Chongs appearance in this movie is so funny!All around a Good Friday night flick

I don't know why people are so against this film. I've heard some really bad reviews of this movie. I saw it almost ten years ago and I loved it from the moment I watched it. It's a very funny film. You can watch it and think, I knew someone like that in high school. It's about a group of students going to Washington. The students range from smart to complete idiot's. Their principal, who you almost feel sorry for, goes with them and everything goes bad for him. But something sinister is going on in Washington....This is a very funny movie i love to watch again and again

I fell in love with this film on the evening of my 16th birthday in 1999, which I spent alone at home. I needed cheering up, and this film happened to be on. I loved Reggie and Dags, and Wanda! I quite like some of the songs on the soundtrack as well. It's very of the mid-1990s, grunge era which I like.Favourite scenes;- In the typing class, where the teacher is just reading out 'A...space...C....space' and then dies, and the nerd carries on typing his death throes- The assembly, with the band High on Life singing 'Put A Little Love in Your Heart' (I have actually heard this song being played as Muzak in shops! Have a little chuckle each time...)- The students looting the alcohol from the service station/ trapping Principal Moss in a disgusting-looking toilet- Reggie and Wanda getting it together!It may not be considered a GREAT film, but I find it funny and often watch it when I need to be reminded of a better time in my life.

What an awsome film glad I purchased it, love it!

Good service dvd in good condition but the movie was rubbish so not funny and it just proves watching something sober compared to being drunk how differently i view things
