With Frank Marino Child of Novelty Vinyl LP Record

.lovely hard rock. Sounds great to me. I've listened to his music since I was 15.

I have been a big fan of Rock Music since 1964 when I was 7 years old and fell in Love with the Beach Boys Music. As I grew older and my tastes changed I discovered many other great artists. But the day in 1974 that I listened to "Child of the Novelty" for the first time changed me for good. I've never been the same since. The music that Frank created for this record was written and recorded when he was 18-19 years old. Not that it matters about his age, but it's interesting to note. I recommend this music to anyone with an open mind to exploratory Rock directions. There is obvious Hendrix influence here but no rip off. The music on this disc is pure magic and though Frank Marino has released many fine records since this one I personally still consider it to be his finest. Bottom line here is that I'm only speaking from my own perspective, but, of the more than 3,000 albums that I own (in one format or another) I consider this to be the best all-around Rock Music Recording that I own. Five Stars is the most they'll let me give, so be it. The 2006 Remaster version sounds better than any version I've heard. That's all Folks...

Bought it new on vinyl in the 70s when it was released. Great album. Great guitar.

I've loved this album since the early 70's and was so glad to finally see it on CD. Frank Marino has always provided great guitar work in a Jimi Hendrix type vein and just plain deserves more recognition than he ever got from the media. This album takes you on a magical journey and will constantly blow your mind. Highly recommended for folks into trippy guitar work.

Could not find this album as a kid growing up, now on cd! Huge Mahagany Rush fan in the late 70's, never thought these would ever be available again. Cant wait to see Frank in St. Louis in a few months, 3rd row!

The CD arrived on Monday April 30 , so I am very pleased about delivery.I bought this because it was supposedly remastered , and the sound ismuch cleaner and brighter than an old CD I bought long ago.Six stars !

Very early Frank Marino and a wonderful collection of music as only Frank can make it. Frank just kept getting better with every recording.

wer die originale Schallplatte besitzt und dazu einen anständigen Plattenspieler, der wird den Unterschied der elektronischen Kopie gegenüber der analogen Platte schnell hören....3 Sterne weil Frank Marino und Mahogany Rush Ansichtssache sind und für ihre Werke in der heutigen Zeit sicherlich nicht sehr viele Hörer zu finden sein werden.Trotzdem, schön dass es die CD gibt und man die empfindliche Schallplatte schonen kann.
