Beautiful volume
What a beautiful volume this is! The Everyman edition is gorgeous and well made. I am already halfway through reading this, and it does not disappoint. I'm so glad I bought the Everyman Classic Library edition, because I will be reading this again and again (inasmuch as I bought it to read to my child). I only wish there were a wider selection in these editions.

Missing A Few Illustrations
I may be a bit of an oddity, but I often collect books because of illustrators I like; in this case, lately I've been collecting books that Arthur Rackham has illustrated. This edition was a nice enough addition to my collection, but I was disappointed to discover that four of the full-color plates he created for the original edition were not included here. It did, however, include 8 full-color illustrations, and a number of line drawings (though some apparently reused from his work on "Tales From Shakespeare", or vice versa), including two full page black and white illustrations obviously created for the book.

book not complete
I bought this book for my daughter for a senior paper that she has to writebut unfortunatly this is NOT a complete book and does not have all 4 sections thatother gullivers travel books have, this only has the first 2 stories but not the other required for a proper paper and this is a volume 1 but you cannot buy a volume 2 with the rest of the book. we were diffinatly disappointed with this purchase and had a very difficult time trying to find other large print books on this title so we had to settle for a regular print book and she has to use a large magnifier or her cc tv.

NOT IN GOOD CONDITION
The book arrived and the cover is in great shape, however, the pages are all very brittle and brown. You can just never tell when you buy a book on-line what you are going to get. This is the only bad one I have purchased so far. I guess it had to happen sooner or later. No complaints about the shipping time or packaging... just the book itself wasn't in good condition as was stated.

Classic
A great read. Read it when we were in school. Now have introduced it to our kids! It's still great

Quite boring with the odd wonderful insidght.
I’ll give it 3 because to still be in print after 300 is quite something. It also has some interesting concepts and takes on what an early 18th century political advisor thought of the human race. However, it’s at times excruciatingly boring and hard to read. Anyone that says they loved every page is, in my opinion, saying this because they think they should or lying. It’s really hard work for a lot of the time.

Print too faint to read
Was very disappointed and had to return as the print was too faint for me to read. Maybe a dud copy?
