The Chosen Book Two: 40 Days with Jesus

The Chosen devotional books are so easy to follow and amazing to read daily.

I have never actually been dedicated to completing a devotional series but this is the second one I have finished. I love the Chosen show and believe it has brought me closer to Jesus in a way I have never felt before. I have a Catholic background and still attend Catholic Church. I went to a Parochial grammar school and went to mad ever morning at my school. Holy Family School in Rochester NY. What this series has done for me is to make me see the apostles in a very human way. Thank you so much.

Nice devotional book. Though it is a tie-in with the show, this devotional can be helpful even as a standalone. Made a great gift.

I gave these to our small group Bible study for Christmas two years ago.

Absolutely wonderful book to have for a daily devotion.. you have to watch the series in order to relate to the character, they’re sometimes pulling from the series and focusing on the problem that character was having, but Jesus chose them anyway. And how their problem relates to many people today that has the same problems maybe. It gives scripture also . It definitely points out that we do not have to be perfect before we turn ourselves over to Jesus. I looked at his disciples. They wasn’t perfect either but he loved them like he loves us..

Each set is written with 3-4 page chapters & asks 3 questions about how the reader would respond to the chapter's, Jesus's challenges in today's world. Very thought Provoking !!!

Best devotional ever

This book deals with Season 2 of The Chosen which is a Faith-based Bible Series that one can find on their app. It is a review of the entire season and dives right in with good quality Scripture and questions. A must-have for fans of the show. I purchased the same type of book for Season 1 and love both books.

La serie, e sicuramente anche il libro, sono straordinari. Ma il formato del libro è A6: un quarto del formato A4, la metà del formato A5, che è di fatto lo standard per i libri. Le pagine sono quindi come misura la metà di quelle di un libro standard ed hanno caratteri che io, 60 anni, riesco a leggere con molta difficoltà. Probabilmente il "target" di questi libri è gente meno avanti con gli anni... Avrei apprezzato di leggere qualche recensione che sottolineasse questo fatto, ma ho trovato solo commenti positivi sul contenuto. Mi sforzerò comunque di leggere e seguire i 40 giorni con Gesù, magari cambio gli occhiali...
