heard a few things about chicken salt, so decided to take the plunge, amazing stuff, tastes a bit like curried salt, but is really really nice, buy it, you wont be disappointed

Hard to find in the UK ( near me anyway) excellent on meat, fish or chips/fries a versatile "salt"

I missed the flavour of chicken salt on chips from Australia. After the Anchor brand chicken salt from the last care package ran out, I decided to see if there was any possibility of purchasing it here in the UK. Um, the price of the Anchor brand was exorbitant to say the least. Though both are imported from Australia, the price of Mitani seemed far more reasonable. I'm not sure about this brand, though, as it doesn't quite taste the same as the Anchor brand my sister sends me. It doesn't quite hit that umami quality to which I've become accustomed. Admittedly, it does add more flavour to chips than regular salt, but something is missing, IMO. Unlike other reviewers, even after a year, mine has not clumped. Perhaps a storage issue? As I cannot afford my regular brand, I'll stick with the Mitani chicken salt for now.

Bought this because the Aussies keep harping on about it. Honestly, it's pretty mid. Somehow it doesn't taste salty enough which is weird because it's literally salt.

I heard about this seasoning on an Australian channel on YouTube and had to try it. It does not disappoint, it makes fries taste amazing, and from what I can tell, it would be good on onion rings, chicken, and other fried or battered foods as well. Absolutely delicious and a great substitute for salt as it adds so much more flavor. This is one of those seasonings that I want to take with me to restaurants so I don't miss having it when eating out. 5 stars all the way!

Good season salt from down under. It is blends of sea salt, paprika, onion and garlic powders. It has "secret" herbs and spices with some rice flour. I suspect that some of the herbs contain msg as the site claims "no added MSG". Not that it is free of MSG. It taste great! tried is on fries, chicken and some Mexican. So far seems to be a really good spice mixture to use when you would normally use onion salt and or garlic salt.

This is the classic chicken salt that Aussie’s crave for their chips (French fries) and the trend is spreading to Canadians who love its tasty salty seasoning. This is the actual original chicken salt manufacturer who started the trend in Australia 🇦🇺. Will definitely order again.

This seasoning tastes so good. Haven’t used it on meat yet but it’s amazing on French fries.
