Extra Padding for Pro-Tec Classic Certified
I'm on my third Pro-Tec Classic Certified helmet, and there has always been a little too much space between the back of my head and the rear of the helmet. It's not a helmet size issue -- I've tried a size up and a size down, it's just the shape of my head. Although this liner is not an exact match to the ones on the CC, it was close enough, especially for what I had in mind.I used the rear pad from this liner kit and glued the original PT rear pad on top of it using Fabri-Tac, an adhesive for fabrics. Do not use too much Fabri-Tac in one area because you will have hard, dried glue -- like little plastic pebbles -- in between the pads, and do not press down too long when setting the two pads together or the Fabri-Tac will seep deep into the pads and will compress the foam pads when it dries. I used the velcro included to fasten around the corner points of the new rear pad to secure it to the helmet. It worked great. I'm pretty sure I have one of the most perfectly fitting Pro-Tec helmets at the park now when I ride.As for the foam pads that came with this kit I haven't used, I'm sure I'll find a use for them soon (The thin fabric lining on my front pad is already, to use a skate/snow term, "delamming" from the foam).NOTE: This was done on the Pro-Tec Classic CERTIFIED (sz: Med), NOT the Classic, or any other Pro-Tec helmet models. I've had the Classic in the past, and the Classic liners are completely different from that of the Classic Certified! I suspect the liners are different between all Pro-Tec models. To those complaining about the thickness of this liner: I used to be a snow tech that sometimes helped out at the skate side of the shop I worked at. The possible reasons why this liner kit seems to be "too thin" for your helmets are:1) You have a helmet that does not fit you (or your child) properly.Do NOT buy a helmet online without trying it on first in real life. Go to a proper bicycle, snow, or skate shop with knowledgeable employees that actually research and use the products they sell. They know how important safety is, because they have seriously injured themselves multiple times already. Even the most cynical skate shop employee will assist the most novice of customers on the proper fit and usage of safety equipment.Do NOT buy a size above what fits your child now thinking he or she will outgrow the helmet in 6 months. Buy another helmet when your child outgrows his or her current helmet. The main reason you are buying your child a helmet is to protect your child, NOT to save money. All manufacturers have variation in sizes. That is to say, a medium Pro-Tec helmet will probably not fit the same as a medium Triple 8. Again, if you're going to buy a different helmet brand or even model from the same company, TRY IT ON IN REAL LIFE FIRST!2) If this liner kit seems much thinner than that of the ones you are replacing, take a good look inside the helmet. If the only thing between your head (or your child's head) and the plastic outer bucket is a thick liner, then that helmet does not have an inner bucket made of EPS foam and is more than likely not CPSC and ASTM certified, which will GREATLY increase you or your child's chances of serious head injury or death. What you want to see is an inner bucket, about an inch thick, of EPS foam (looks and feels like hard styrofoam) that covers the entire inside of the helmet, then a liner such as this, possibly thicker, but not by much. That EPS foam will compress in a predictable manner help disperse the energy from the initial point of impact through out the helmet, bettering the chances of survival. If you or your child is wearing a helmet without EPS foam and is not CPSC and ASTM certified, you might as well be wearing a hat to protect yourself. If you don't believe me, check out YouTube. There's a bunch of videos that demonstrate the effectiveness of a certified helmet vs a non-certified helmet.

Works like it should. Nothing to report.
This does exactly what it's supposed to, protect my noggin. Velcro works well and it fit my helmet (size s/m) I did a personal project of refurbishing my old skating helmet (which was a seriously bad way) and needed pad replacements (amongst other upgrades) since the original ones were dusty, moth eaten and just gross from old sweat. This pack fit the bill. No complaints so far! Not sure how durable they are. I plan on taking care of these better than the original set. But, even if they're not great there aren't many other options. Regardless, I'm not worried about that since it's def cheap enough to buy replacements as needed.

EXACTLY perfect and exactly what I wanted
Really nice product. Comes with many velcro dots and a read-me that recommends to use a hot glue gun to stick the dots on your helmet. They are right because the adhesive on the velcro dots is very weak. I went ahead and hot-glued the entire pads themselves and it worked great. I have my custom, se4cure fit again and I get to keep my favorite helmet.

Perfect for what I needed
I needed a more tight fit on my ski helmet, as my head size is right on the line between Med and Large helmet size. This worked out perfectly for what I needed. The padding is a good thickness, but not too much where it was overly large. The padding in the photo (the gray section) shows the thickness and fit.I think this is a good product for its price.

Worked, would like it thicker
I got an XL helmet and my usually large head was a little small for it. I bought this extra padding to help make it fit better. I used all the pieces and I hot glued the velcro tabs per instruction's advice. The helmet fits much better now. I'm debating to purchase one more set to get it a little more snug. After sweating, it seems to lose stiffness and reduces comfort slightly.
