sturdy enough to hold my solid body Gibson faithfully
sturdy enough to hold my solid body Gibson faithfully, i was a bit on the fence about putting a $3,000 guitar on a $13 stand but after looking at some of the $50-100 stands in person at the local music shops i decided to take a chance on this and figured i could use it for one of my beaters worse case scenario, turns out it's actually a pretty nice little stand for the money and once put together correctly i'm confident enough in it to hold my gibby...i really don't know if there is a high praise than that imo...that said i do wish the wishbone/horseshoe bit at the bottom was secured a bit better, it's fine and hasn't caused me problems...i just wish it looked like it was more secure if that makes any sense...all in all pretty darn happy with this stand and for the cost it's really hard to go with anything else as i felt that even some of the much more expensive stands still had me thinking the same thing in various places in their designs....i'm an areospace eng, maybe i just overthink things...

Husband says it's great
So I got this as a gift for the hubs. He really likes the red color and says it works great. His only complaint is that it doesn't have a solid piece to go in front of the guitar neck to keep it from tipping out of the stand, like his other. It does have a little rubber band type piece for that.... But he prefers the "latch style". For the price, you can't beat it. For him, the only issue he had was that... And as he said, it's more of just a preference rather than an actual problem.

It Works... Well, kind of.
Lets first start with the color. The shade of yellow is exactly like a rubber duck's color. Hideous. Not sure who picked the color, but a simple black or white or almost any other color would have been better. In the pictures in the page, it looked a lot less glossy.Putting it together is quite easy, just spread the legs, snap the bottom holder portion and rotate it, slide the neck holder, set it to the right height and screw the knob in the back. This is where MY problems started. I bought this for my cheap Yamaha FG700S Acoustic Guitar. In my case, the back of the heel would hit the neck holder's vertical tube before toughing the holder itself. The rubber around the neck holder is not very tight and moving the neck strap onto it kind of peels it back a bit and you have to adjust it a little. I have decided to put the neck strap actually behind the next to prevent the tube from rubbing on the heel. So now the guitar can be easily picket up without havinfg to remove the strap.I will try it for a couple of days but I may return the item. The main reason unfortunately is the hideous color.I hope this helps.PS: I know the name of the product says "Electric Guitar Stand", but considering I found it on the "Acoustic Guitar Stands" section on Amazon I decided to give it a try.

Keep that guitar outta the case if you want your childrento play it
Got this for my daughter. We got her a half sized Yamaha acoustic for xmas, and wanted something cute that she wouldn't mind keeping in her room. This is perfect, as the alternative to a stand is keeping the guitar zipped up in its case.. which means it'll never get played ;)

The rubber part is great for keeping the guitar from falling off
It's ok. The rubber part is great for keeping the guitar from falling off, but is so tight that it's hard for me to get on and off. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so this may not be a problem for people without dexterity or mobility impairments. The only thing I don't like is that the stand seems flimsy, but it was super cheap, so I know that goes with the territory, and I HATE how flimsy the bottom thing (total brain fart right now) is that supports the guitar. It moves side to side and I have a thinner Washburn semi hollowbody and I have to make sure it's on there just so or it slips out of my hand and off the stand before I can secure it. I would invest in a more sturdy stand if you have a full size acoustic or a heavy solid body, or a taller bass. This is way to flimsy for anything but smaller and thinner instruments.

A good stand, better then most.
Arrived within 4 days of my purchase, which definitely impressed me. The stand itself is well made, and fits all of my guitars (I have 4) quite nicely. It even fits my Warbeast, which, due to its unique shape, I had been having trouble finding an adequate stand for. It seems reasonably durable, and a decent price for what you get. I have several similar guitar stands that I picked up for about 15$, all around the same quality as this one, but this is the first one that has actually secured any guitar I tried, regardless of shape or style. It can be a little awkward to try and take apart to make it fit in your gig-bag or case to bring to a show, as the individual parts are a bit long, but as a stand itself it is the best you will find for the price.Would definitely recommend.

Good simple stand
Stand was delivered on a timely manner. It was not damaged at all. It's a simple design but holds the guitar well. My sister just started playing and it just annoyed me enough to get her a stand because she leaves the guitar against a chair or down on the floor...We got this stand along with replacement strings. Delivered timely. It's been about 3 months now and the stand is still in great condition.

It's working out.
It will do the job. It's not as sturdy as the one bought in the music shop for the same price, but is working fine. The acoustic is a little large for it but it is still working for it. Much better for an Electric as they are thinner.Nothing was broken on arrival, came at the proper time.

Does its job well
I bought it because it's blue. I though it would be less ordinary. It looks nice and does its job well.
