Just the right size for so many cooking storage needs. Washes up nicely in the dishwasher. I have never had any of mine stain. We use these daily and after continuous microwave use the plastic container will begin to show signs of peeling.

Love these containers. been using them for years and love storing food in them. can transport with no leaks, easy to open and close, great price and dont smell. i wash everything before using them anyways.

It’s hard to beat a Rubbermaid container. Sure good for leftovers. And for freezing soups made ahead of time.

I bought some like these 20 years ago and still use them, so I wanted additional new ones. These are easy to use, store and wash. Burping out the air is easy. I like the fact that I cannot tell which ones I just bought and which ones are 20 years old! These wear very well and the covers do not warp. They may outlast me!

I have two other types, this Rubbermaid is far and away the best in quality and cleanability. I like the size, a kind of deep-dish feel that is very handy for microwave warming spaghetti and eating it right out of the container. Plenty of room for a full serving, and still some top space for winding the spaghetti. The material doesn't retain the tomato red, looks like new every time, easy clean, flexible. Stacks for the refrigerator. I'd characterize it as vintage American, expecting thoughtful quality, and getting it.
