Easy Hack to make this an AWESOME blaster
Used this product for first 5 minutes, and took apart the bottom valve assembly. The bushing plug in the bottom of the tank takes a bit of heat to separate their sealant threadlocker. Then using a dremel bit, I ground the inside sharp edge of the bushing, turning it into a “funnel”. Needed a bit of Teflon tape to reassemble, and definitely not the tape included with the box (cheap and thin). Reassembled, and never again had a clog or inconsistent feed of media again! The one hose clamp on each hose also had to be addressed and simply added a second after the hose blew off mid project. Overall, works great! Pressure relief will go at 108-110 psi. I also have a large commercial blaster, and this is nearly comparable, just in smaller scale and blast pattern. I do use an old 35 gal compressor tank hooked to it with a 3/4” reg and 1/2” hydraulic hose to the blaster. Then I have option for towable compressor or shop compressor to feed the tank. Helps keep a more consistent and even flow to the blaster. Only wish the spray hose was a bit longer, but easily remedied. Hope these ideas help anyone that may be having issues. Wish I bought this sooner, much easier to move around than my large one. So far, only shot black slag and glass bead and both were flawless.

Not an ASME tank. Hood is dangerous.
Note that these are not ASME code built tanks, who knows what standards they're built to. They don't show a photo of top fill, it is a round (not oval or oblong) plug, hence it cannot be removed and there is no dog for it, hence when pressure drops it falls out / into the tank. When the media is poured in some is likely to stay on the rubber gasket thereby interfering with a good seal once you try to pressurize the tank. The nozzle frequently plugs, I suspect that the media valve at the bottom of the tank has very poor control and if you stop blasting the media continues to fall into the hose promoting pluggage when you resume blasting. Wear safety glass if using the cheap hood that came with it because deflected or loose media passes through it readily. I wish that I had purchased one at harbor Freight for less than $150.

Buyer Beware !!!!
Says it's made in the USA but the package says china. The pop off valve trips at 80psi but the instructions say the ideal pressure is 110psi. The fill plug/cap leaks air bad. Gets hung up dumping a ton of media then starts working for a little while. The ad and package both say it's a 100lb pot. The most I could get in it is about 60 lbs. Says to use 1/2" connections but the supply inlet is reduced to 3/8" . I want a refund.

Had to get a replacement
The plunger leaked on the first one I got. The second one is good. I wish they had welded the handle on the outside of the funnel.. other than that it's good.

and will upgrade to a longer and better quaility hose when the original wears
Well made unit, small to store, I adapted it to use quick connect couplings for the discharge hose, and will upgrade to a longer and better quaility hose when the original wears out

Cheaply constructed.
The tank itself is pretty well made. Unfortunately they seemed to cut corners everywhere else. The brass fittings are paper thin and so poorly constructed they literally snap in half. My unit arrived with a damaged pressure gauge ( broken at threaded end ) which I attributed to shipping damage. Removed the broken brass end and screwed the new gauge in place only to have another brass fitting snap in half. A nice looking cheaply made unit that may be fine for a single or limited use but not much beyond that. Save your money.

Plan on fixing it
Plan on some type of damage from abuse during shipping. I took 3 returns to get one that was usable. Also plan on re-sealing all the fittings, they leak air terribly. The fitting quality is not good and would not seal. I replaced everything with fittings from Ace hardware. The blaster itself works good, but packaging is terrible and so is the quality of the hardware.

eventually just used it with leaks and managed to blast some driftwood which turned out great. 60 grit
